Do girls find people wearing glasses unattractive?

I wear glasses, and people for some reason always tell me to not wear them as this would make me look better, but my vision just isn't as good without them. They always suggest me to get contact lenses but im just confused. Are people wearing glasses inferior in looks to people not wearing them?

Glasses are like hats, the right style enhances your appearance, the wrong style makes you look daft.

And cheap ones always look bad.

Some people I've seen change from glasses to contacts just look ill without them. You really notice their pasty white skin and minor blemishes stand out much more.

it's just that you are used to seeing them with glasses on. actually, it's almost impossible that somebody looks better with glasses than without, unless he's quite ugly and plain and has to go with the geek's look, in order to appear a bit more interesting.

i was about to start a similar thread, since yesterday i had some problems with my eyes and i couldn't wear contact lenses (by the way, my eyes got all red [reeeeally red] and burned as i tried to put contacts on them... today i manage to wear them, but they still feel a bit uncomfortable... what is that?!?!). well, while usually i notice random girls staring at me while i'm outside, yesterday (i had my glasses on), i didn't notice any. my female classmates told me that i'm pretty nice with glasses on and maybe i should wear them more often, but, again, there was no unknown girl that stared at me.

i'm not saying it's all about looks, it's also confidence: after getting home, i understood that i felt pretty ugly with glasses, so my confidence had gone deep down: i walked a bit curved and even my hair looked messy (not a cool mess, but a nerdy mess). throw aways those fùckin glasses, guys!

There's nothing wrong with wearing glasses. I'm a long time wearer. i wear those plastic black ones that are fashionable, you see quite a lot of people wearing those now.

But actually this is how it works....if people see you wear glasses 24/7, then one day you switch to contacts you'lll look 2x better w/o it.

if people never seen you wear glasses, one day you show up wearing em, they'll say you look better and more sophisticated.

but eh...some people look better with or w/o glasses.

IMHO, people naturally looks best w/o glasses.

so yea it's like a hat basically, it accompanies your hair & clothing style. Whether or not you appear a nerd is up to how you present yourself.

For some reason, I have a fetish for girls wearing glasses. Of course they have to be the right kind of glasses for her face. Something about a good looking girl in glasses just turns me on!

i use to wear glasses, then i got contact lens and ppl said I looked great without glasses

but then again, I got tired of putting that stuff on everyday and taking it off

so i got my lasek done, now I am glasses/lens free

It depends on what the persons face looks like. And the style of glasses they wear. People have told me that I look older with my glasses on so i'm not ashamed to wear them.

Hollywood says nerds/dorks wear glasses. Hollywood says cool people don't. Go with Hollywood if it's an image thing.

Girls are exempted from this unless they wear huge plastic eyeglasses.

I dont wear glasses. But everytime I am messing around and put on a pair of one of my friends glasses chicks always comment and say I look really good with glasses. Too bad I have perfect vision
