"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

That's disgusting. I just looked up some pics, etc. of oral herpes cold sores. It's gross. I'm going out with a girl that has oral herpes tomorrow and I was going to kiss her, etc. , but I'm just nexting her now. My mom has oral herpes, but luckily I don't.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

AFAIK, oral herpes is not necessarily sexually transmitted.

Your standard run of the mill cold sore is a small herpes outbreak generally as a result of the Herpes Simplex Virus. There is another strain called Herpes Simplex Virus II which mostly affects the genital region. Each of the virus' can affect other regions as well.

It's estimated that 80-90% of humans have had a oral herpes infection by age 10.

I think 20% of Americans have genital herpes, HSV II. It is hard to define exactly who does and does not have herpes, because they say some people can carry the virus without ever having an outbreak. To add to the confusion, there are dozens of different strains of the virus, and each person will react differently to different strains.

If you are going to have an active sex life with numerous new partners, HSV and HPV (warts) are just part of life. Condoms cut risk by about half, which is not much protection. You will meet more people with hsv/hpv than you will meet without, whether you realize it or not.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

That is why its important to be selective when you decide to fvck someone. You have less chances in catching it with the girl next door as oppose to the town wh0re.

Easy lay with a stripper will often get you more then you bargain for.

Choose quality not quantity.

I've had cold sores pop up on my lip about every month as far back as I can remember. It really takes a toll on your self esteem and how you interact with people. Imagine that every time you go to school you get your teachers rubbing their lips right after looking at you, or having people not even wanting to look at your face when you get one. fukking sux.

Anyway, as you can imagine, it's really tough to sarge with a big crusty sore on your lip.

I was in a relationship for 5 years with a girl who never got a cold sore in her life. I would always get them, we'd avoid kissing on the lips when I had one. She never caught it. It's my understanding that most people in the US have it, but only a few actually break out with them.

I finally got rid of them, after I started taking the drug Zovirax. It's a pharmaceutical that works amazingly well to help prevent a full on outbreak. You take it right when you feel the tingling of a cold sore coming on.

A few years ago, I'd get a sore about once every 3 months. Now, I get one about once a year.

Better living through chemistry. :cheer:

Cheers!

yup

i've got it! I used to get cold sores about once a year but I was sick of going crazy for a week. I literally wouldn't come out of my room because of the way it is viewed by society

Now I take 500 mg of lysine dailiy and I haven't had it in 2 years.

BTW, lysine is an amino acid that helps prevent herpes if taken daily

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

AIDS is a death sentence ! Lots of people live with herpes and you can still have an active sex life and enjoy your entire life. If u really are more afraid of herpes than AIDS, why don't u go watch some AIDS victims as their are on their deathbed in the hospital, so exhausted they can't walk, no immune system, coughing up blood, and just waiting to die, and then come back and tell me which u are more afraid of.
