"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

okay i happened to bump into this guy and i was amazed by how much his girlfriend loves him and i can tell this guy is a total AFC...based on what i have read on this site so far is that women are to enhanced your life not to be your life and this guy just doesn't stop, yet his girlfriend's still crazy for him...what does he has that other guys don't?...and the guy's not that pretty good looking...i think it's safe to say that men and women in general are just attracted to certain traits...and you can bet that your face will only get you that far...BODY is much more important and of course PERSONALITY which is the biggest thing...i think it's safe to say that DJ's aren't for LTR for they can only make the spark last for a few months...just enough to get into first base or maybe it's cuz most DJ's don't really pursue LTRs...also this site talks about how women are attracted to men but this guy to me is almost as feminine as his girlfriend and believe me i know more guys like him that gets the hottest chicks out there and i'm thinking to myself, if that guy can get a girl like that then i can definitely get something better...now i know that getting a girl isn't the hardest thing but keeping a girl is...now the question is...does being an AFC the best way to go?...someone tell me if i just made the dumbest post on this site!~

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Who knows man, maybe she's the dependent type of chick that needs to have a guy worshipping her 24/7. Maybe she runs him around and he's her b!tch, or maybe she's cheating on him with an alpha. Who knows? Of course it isn't going to last, these kids are only 18.

Also, most women value a good looking face slightly more than a good body, from my own personal experience, but having both is the best.

...i think it's safe to say that DJ's aren't for LTR for they can only make the spark last for a few months...just enough to get into first base or maybe it's cuz most DJ's don't really pursue LTRs...
Huh? A few months to get to first base? More like a few hours if you're a real DJ.

I'm actually looking for a long term relationship right now, but the problem is that most chicks aren't qualified (and the one that is, the coolest girl I've ever met in my life, is moving to California in April. Dammit!)

Most girls I meet are either
1.) Too easy, and I don't like feeling like, in the words of PRL/LMS "the next pimp in line", and honestly, I usually DON'T SEX them because I don't really need to (my ego is already satisfied)
2.) We're not compatible. These chicks like to talk about what parties they went to, who they got drunk with, what their favorite season of Sex and the City is, and what they read in Cosmo last month. Yawn, NEEEEXT!
3.) They don't like the outdoors. Or they do like the outdoors, but they're ugly.
4.) They cheat on their borefrind with me (without my knowledge, I don't get involved with chicks with borefriends anymore), then expect to get with me. Then they get p!ssed when I tell them that they're cheating hors and that it would never happen.
5.) And then, like everyone, I strike out. :D "If you don't fall, you're not trying hard enough"

also this site talks about how women are attracted to men but this guy to me is almost as feminine as his girlfriend and believe me i know more guys like him that gets the hottest chicks out there and i'm thinking to myself, if that guy can get a girl like that then i can definitely get something better...now i know that getting a girl isn't the hardest thing but keeping a girl is...now the question is...does being an AFC the best way to go?...someone tell me if i just made the dumbest post on this site!~
That guy is more lucky than anything, or maybe he is alpha and you just don't know it. Never be AFC, never be beta, and never supplicate. Go see 300 and pay special attention to Leonidas.

"Never be AFC, never be beta, and never supplicate."...i'll take your advice on this one...ugh!~

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

well, I never really dated any girls back when I was an AFC. Farthest I got was taking one girl to prom and going out with her once beforehand and once afterward. But I wasn't really that interested in her (and I was about to leave for college) so things didn't progress further. She was actually the ninth girl I asked to the prom, but that's another story...

Most of the time, I couldn't even get unattractive girls to like me much. Since I renounced AFC-ism I've had considerably more success. I'm still not where I want to be, tho.

Luck is definitely part of the game. But if you're an AFC then you basically have to depend on luck. I don't think that's a good position to be in.

To be an AFC is to relegate oneself to mediocrity and being average...I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather die than be average in the areas of my life that are important...

One thing I don't think many of the guys on this site realise is that being DJ extends far past trynna mac chics...its an attitude, a will, a desire to be the best u can be. Aim high.
