"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hey all...

My good friend has been self concious, and insecure for many years now. Recently, (last year) I confronted him about his insecurity and had a friendly man to man talk with him. I asked questions and offered tips from this website, such as...

"Why are you insecure?"
"Who do you need to impress?"
"You're the catch"
"Take her off the pedistal, she's only human"
"****y and funny, girls eat it up"

He's always been insecure about himself and approaching girls. Unfortunatally his problem now is ARROGANCE. My friend has become the most condescending and cold person I currently talk to. He's downright NASTY to girls- thinking he's the 'alpha-male' and god's gift to women, when obviously he is not. (Girls do not even like the "new version" of my friend, and tell me he's downright mean. I'm dissapointed because he is one of my good freinds but is now really getting on my nerves! Thinking he is the BEST in the world and NEVER, and i mean NEVER wrong.

Any suggestions on how to confront someone like this? I want to get him back on the right track...I dont think I can take too much more of this "new ARROGANT version" of my friend...

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

your friend is going through the jerk-phase after learning about the material on this site.

Don't worry about it too much... from what I've read, most guys turn out better after this phase.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This is my first post at this site, and I've been lurking here for about three or four months.

Well, I just want to say that the guy you're describing is the old me. Ever since I've read about "Secrets of an Alpha Man," David DeAngelo's stuff, and stuffs in here, I have become, without me realizing, a total Jerk. My mindset ever since, was the same as your friend. As a result, I have lost a few normal friends, and a few more of my "nerdy" friends. I don't know why, but they just started avoiding and talking behind my back - thanks to my best friend who is still their friend, who spies for me (I told him about my phase and about the stuff I read and about "The Game," so he kinda understood what I was going through)

After a few months though, I have realized my mistakes and changed my mindsets and actions. I have diverted my energy from being a jerk to a more mature man. Ever since, girls that I've been trying to experiment my "game" on, have been more succesful than ever, so in conclusion, he'll change after a few weeks or months and etc. You just have to tell him what he's doing and how they're wrong and that too much is is not good, and that everyone hates the way he acts. You gotta open his eyes for him, but don't turn him back to a pvssy. Also, an Alpha Man is not a jerk. An Alpha Man is a *humble* gentleman. (take "humble" lightly).

By the way, since then, I got back my normal friends (although I had to tone down my ****y and funny (on my old "girl + friends"), but I now intentionally avoided my nerdy friends.

Yeah! First post!

By the way, I love this site. It marks the cause of the turning point of my life. Every since this site, plus David DeAngelo's stuff, plus "Secrets of An Alpha Man" ebook, plus "Real Social Dynamics" newsletters, and Don Juan Tips came to my life, my life has never been better. Not just on girls, but also and most importantly, my social life.

Thanks to you guys.
