I'm convinced in many ways he is and Rollo has said this before as well despite Destiny's shortcomings.

The guy makes bank, has social status, is surprisingly masculine in the sense he is adamant in standing behind his beliefs (even when wrong), will call others out and is not afraid of resulting repercussions. He also went across the world (while leaving behind his son ) and went after a hot swedish girl a decade younger than him.

Where he fails is his deference to women and engaging in emotionalism ad nauseum. He has no frame, no backbone, no understanding of boundaries and views women as holier than hoe. He is too bull headed to admit when he may be wrong on an idea and has too much ill founded pride. He doesn't not believe in hypergamy and thinks a woman's past irrelevant. To get this man to genuinely 'unplug' there needs to be a catalyst and like many guys who become rp aware it starts with a traumatic event.

Nope, it proves it right.

In a general sense to be machiavellian is to manipulate things to meet your ends. Ethical considerations are often ignored alongside subsequent resulting repercussions. To achieve an aim by any means necessary which is oftentimes unscrupulous and exploitative in nature.

In the instance here, apparently this other guy was filling her head with lies and actively turning her against Destiny. I can think in many ways back to PUA and how often those men would use decepit to their advantage and put on airs, all in a concerted effort to get sex
(i'm more a mode one guy personally).

Generally speaking the application of these qualities is for personal gain and those that utilize them in this manner test highly for psychopathy. Some broad examples being:

-Taking info about someone/something then storing it as ammunition to hurt them at a later date.
-Using lies to control a scenario or create avoidance
-Using insincere flattery
-Instilling a false persona of sincerity and moral integrity
-Avoiding confrontation in the moment to later use someone

However, you can have dark triad traits and be a good person.

Knowing these traits is a power, using them correctly is another thing. People who are competent in manipulation could apply that skillset to influence people into better choices for example. Being dark triad in many ways is a good thing when used in a positive way, it means you are intuitive and arguably a realist.

From my reading I think Robert Greene is by far the best at dissecting and explaining machiavellianism in particular. People often cite 48 Laws of Power, but I'd argue his book Seduction spends far more time engaging in manipulation (for better or worse).

His book Laws of Human Nature is on spotify. Chapter 3 and chapter 9 would be well worth a listen.

I don't agree with Destiny's open relationship views, but I do know that he is extremely anti-red pill even still after the divorce, so this video title is completely misleading. The concept of the Red Pill is completely bull shvt because even the patrons of it do not practice it behind closed doors.
