"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Lately I have been going through a case of bad of headaches and insomnia due to no fap (You get withdrawls, believe it, its true). This has made me edgy recently and even borderline hostile.

Last night I made a terrible mistake...Hitting up the clubs while I was in a pissy terrible mood. I'm not much of a club guy anyways, since I like to hang back, relax, and take it easy in my convos with girls. I also am big on 1v1 conversation rather than trying to entertain a group. To sum that up, f*ck clubs.

I don't tend to drink that much anymore now that I have graduated college and have begun an intense career. My "friend" who I have known for 2 years is pressuring me all night to get drunk with him. This f*ck is basically an alcoholic now, believes life is about giving himself to a woman, and being on as many substances as possible at the same time. He tells me life is great when he is f*cked up. Guy is miserable, but lucky. Has model type looks so women throw themselves at him and he constantly has the audacity to call it game. I only went out with him last night because he is moving far away (thank god) tomorrow and I lived with this *** for two years. Kinda rambling on here, I just really f*ckin hate this guy recently.

Back to the story, so he asks me to get drinks again. Once again I deny him. So he gives me multiple medium strength slaps to the face telling me to drink. So I tell him to f*ck off and he does it again. So I punch him in the chest not too hard, but enough to send a message, and he says he is joking, starts laughing, bullsh*t he was joking, that f*ckbag. My other friend who is actually a good guy, steps in and tells ME to calm down. Tells ME!!! The whole situation makes me look like a moron. I know I was gotten the better of here and he probably wanted me to react that way, but when a guy I don't really like starts slapping you, its tough in the moment to play it off cool.

I need to know, how would you react in a situation like this? And do you have any friends who do that whole hit you and say their joking bullsh*t? Other people seem to take it better than me, and I would like to know of the best way to react. I feel like any way I handle that would have me coming out looking like the bad guy.

Thanks, any help appreciated! Keep in mind, have not been feeling well lately...

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Haha, this is humorous. Reminds me of the beginning to the catcher in the rye..

Honestly I don't have friends who act like that anymore but when they do.. I usually would just push them away and be like cut it out or something.. but I don't get really pissy.. I work out pretty hard at the gym, so I try not to take anyone's crap..

But it is what it is man.. he's leaving so just forget about it. I'm sure he was just having fun.. And because you hate the guy, you reacted the way you did.. You really can never hide the way you feel about someone.. eventually it comes out. Good or Bad ;) So it's best to watch your thoughts..

Him leaving makes me so happy, so yeah I really shouldn't care. The guy isn't worth getting upset about or even talking about. I would be lying if I said the guy doesn't intimidate me a little, he is f*cking huge and that plays a factor into my reaction. You're right though guys, I shouldn't get so pissy about it, its what this tool wants

No dude would ever dare try something like that to me, so I am unsure what to really say...you must be seen as a softie to have another guy try something like that

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I think you should have been firmer in the beginning when he was pushing you to get drinks. You need to put your foot down and let people know that you will not do x or y so they know not to pressure you anymore. If I'm not feeling like drinking a whole lot, I make it known at the beginning of the night when everyone is sober and I say it with a stern face so they get the message that I really mean it.

Anyway, in that situation, I would have done what you did, push him off but I would have walked away from him and told him he was being a douche. Usually, most guys will come find you later and apologize for being a douche.

this. i had an old friend (since we were in our teens) who kept putting me down because he got a higher paying job a few years ago and bragged about it all the time when we hung out. he was never like that until he got that job. i am all about my friends or anyone for that matter being successful. i never hated on him. so i just cut him out of my life. no need to have negative people to bring you down. surround yourself with good people always.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't stern in my decision not to have another drink last night. I need to work on this as its something I struggle with, because I've just never been a person to set ground rules. No one else treats me this way btw, but I know he has done this to other people too.

This guy is gone now, so I don't have to stress anymore. One of my best friends is replacing him in a couple weeks as he'll be living in my area for the next year. I had some of my most successful times with girls while this guy has been a wing man, he's the type of guy who builds you up rather than a cancer like the douchebag. A true class act. We will be hitting up many college parties this year since he is still in school.

You guys all gave great responses, I should be more prepared if something like this were to happen again.

yeah my advice would be similar Juan Don's
Don't worry about how to handle yourself IN that moment, worry about your future move. Being just cut him out of your life. Cut the fat out of your life.
No need to hang around people who bring out your hostile side all you should be concerned about is good vibes with good friends. When you have a good group of people around you, you feed off eachothers success/actions and everyone benefits. Strength in numbers.

It's really hard to determine what to do IN the moment, it's a grey area situation, looks like No Fap withdrawals really are hitting you haha.
Mine went away after I ****ed that chick but my sex drive went away with them ): not sure what's up with that. They're supposed to last 2-3 weeks max.
