"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

A friend who is a girl (from another school) invited me to her homecoming. She is not good looking and i would never consider going out with her but she's cool as a friend. Anyways, i have never been to a dance before in my life!!! (because I was quite antisocial
Ive been to one football game before and danced a little there. it was ok but i dunno if i looked like a retard or not but i was prolly OK. Well, what do I do? I know i should dress semi-formal and ive got that covered. It is gonna be an awesome opportunity to meet new people but i dont know jack **** about dancing? what kind of dancing goes on at school dances? Is there gonna be slow dancing? Is it gonna be hip-hop? I definitely dont wanna be grinding against my friend and giving her the wrong idea. Also, what goes on there at dances? What else should i learn to do at the dances besides dancing? Please help me and give me some tips!! Thanks everyone!

PS. I will be wearing jeans with some good shoes (sneakers as a last resort if i dont buy any good ones soon) and a nice colored long sleeve shirt (the kind you see people at clubs wearing)

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Thanks "we all eat food" for the advice and i would greatly appreciate any other tips from anyone else.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

there are some slowdances. my homecoming had alot of slow dances, but more hiphop or fast songs. but it's not that hard, jus do wat u see other people doing. and slow dancing is just swayin from side to side, nothin fancy it has always worked for me, cause i cant dance for ****,lol. and remember, u dont have to come up in there like micheal jackson or ciarra. dancin is just moving to the music, u dont have to be fancy.

I sucked at dancing to, the thing is the guy doesn't dance, you act more as a pole while they grind against you.
