"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I was wondering, since this here's all in english, and some of us arent english/american...do these rules apply to other languages/cultures too...

kind of a strange question, but what I mean is:

-in english you can give great compliments (it's a languages that really flows well) while, for instance, Dutch or German is such an unattractive language, that you can't make these compliments...a lot of oneliners sound unbelievable in english, and stupid/lame in dutch/german...

-A lot of moves and oneliners in english sound very lame in dutch...I can't imagine something like that would actually work (partly from what I see in dutch café's and my/friends experience(s))

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

In my country, we don't rely on one-liners, women tend to welcome an approach as long as the man is confident and not a creep although I suspect things will change as they become more Anglo-american..

I am in the UK right now and have been for several years, and I miss that sort of flirting enviroment very much.

You do have a point in the fact that social one-liners and humour don't translate well, I have found the same is true from Greek to English.
