"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I was just thinking..in theory, if I could find a product with just protein in it, find some pure glucose or fructose or whatever, and take some MCT and EFA's or what not, could i build a pure diet? I know vitamin/mineral supplementation would be necessary as well..but would this be the ultimate "clean" diet?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Well, eating pure glucose, thats worse than eating pure sugar. I think atleast with sugars, its two or three glucose molecules together.

Anyways, my nutrition professor said that nutrients are most effective when they interact with the foods they come from.

that gives you no fiber, soluble or insoluble. you need a balance of fats, not just the 'good ones' (MCTs & EFAs are such useful supplements b/c american diets dominated by other fats). a simple sugar like malodextrin is potentially useful post-workout, but will play havoc with your insulin and metabolism the rest of the time.

more broadly, virtually every study of supplementation has shown, as spes says, that natural foods are more useful for health than the supplements that purportedly copy their "good parts"...

this makes sense. our GIs evolved as a compromise in order to process our omniverous habits, and get the most out of all sorts of foods (given those compromises -- we're pretty bad herbivores, for example). pure protein, pure sugar, and so forth were unavailable to us until extremely recently.

although it is possible to "fortify" some foods to make them healthier, for the most part, additives are put into our foods for other reasons (taste, texture, appearance, shelf-life, convenience, etc.) we still don't know what most of those additives really do for us, so there is a case for eating as simply as possible. but you're not proposing simple (primitive) eating, you're proposing simple (reduce our diet to its chemical components) eating. I think that's a dead end (plus it would be really, really boring!)

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
