"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

This is why it's dangerous to help women, when you are a sub-5 guy, and why guys, in general are opting out of helping women in distress. It could generally land you in jail. Mind your own business next time someone needs help so you could avoid a prison sentence. That's where America is as a society.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The guy has a strong case for a civil suit against the woman.

The real tragedy is that the criminal court system in cities like Atlanta is so far behind that it takes two months to get a bail hearing. In New Orleans it can be 6-12 months or even longer. Some people wait in jail for a longer time than the maximum punishment for their alleged crime, before they even get their first hearing. My state eliminated cash bail recently for reasons like that.

It's very common nowadays for Men to spend years in jail after being framed for rape or some bullcrap of that manner. Some have lost their jobs for being framed for sexual harassments, that's why it's very important to be a Self Disciplined Man sexually and you have holistic and spiritual knowledge to get rid of that thirst to kiss a woman's @ss in public and behind the scenes, you gotta rid of the need to get their validation and focus on higher goals, purpose and fulfilling endeavors in life. Stay focus, bounce back from your woes and keep fighting the good fight against these butched up Femnazis man.

The cops should have never arrested and charged him in the first place. If there's a surveillance video available, they should have watched it before arresting the guy.

I think it's optimistic to assume that police would take the time to verify video before arresting someone—especially when racial bias is involved. Unfortunately, in both the U.S. and other places, systemic racism can lead to a situation where the word of a white individual is given far more weight than that of a Black or Brown person. This isn't always about incompetence—it's sometimes about deep structural bias that leads to false arrests and unjust outcomes. The way ‘Stand Your Ground’ or ‘castle doctrine’ laws are applied often reflects this imbalance, favoring some and punishing others. If the individual in question had simply been white, this incident might never have happened. That should concern all of us

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

How can you just assume that this was a result of racial bias? This happened in Atlanta, where most cops are not even white. The accused is an Indian, the complaint is white and the cops who made the arrest were in all likelihood black.

Because the cops didn't look at the survaillance video at the store and just took the word of a lying White woman.

My local wal-mart only hires people who are largely brain dead. I could see them being too stupid or incompetent to replay the video for the police.

And it could have been gender bias behind their decision-making. Cops tend to be high testosterone young men, and might be biased to take the woman's side if she is the slightest bit attractive.

Or more of an age and gender bias.

Unfortunately, a middle aged man who is unattractive and alone can sometimes be viewed as a creep, even if the guy is harmless.
He was not alone though. He had a family, daughter, a business, and was successful. He was just alone in the store. (ie you are not going to bring your wife/family everywhere you are going right...you are going to be occasionally physically alone even if you are with someone as it's logistically impossible to always be with your SO, plus sometimes you have me time)

He did not go to hit on this girl but tried to help her child. The videos show his interactions with her didn't look like he was trying to pick her up or go beyond public decency or general courtesy. The question still stands, if it was a burley middle aged white guy that did the same thing, would she have responded the same way, or would police have also treated him like "guilty until proven innoscent"?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Corrector can be an idiot, but he is 100% right o this one.

If there's anything I fear more than a racist white cop it'd be a (ANY) black cop!! And to make matter worse: a female black cop.

They be power tripping 24/7 .

Unfortunately, perception is reality. He was alone in that store. People in the store don’t know about his family and business success.

I think we’re talking about two different angles. I don’t doubt that a racial bias issue made things worse.

I just meant that if he had been a younger handsome guy, she also might have responded differently.

Off topic, this was in the south where it’s probably normal to talk to people in stores. Here in the north, if you wanted Tylenol (or anything), 99 percent of the time, you’d only ask a store employee. I’ve shopped for years and never had another customer ask me where stuff was.

Well no doubt, him having a solid family, and good daughter, who help set up his defense lawyer, was crucial in getting him out of jail (ie after 47 days in jail) even though they could not keep him out of there in the first place. If he was truly alone then he might still be in jail today while these surveilence videos would be stored somewhere (ie assuming that came even out on time for trial).

When he interacted with her, the premise was on helping her child first. The tylenol must have some afterwards, but was never used to break the ice in the first place. You are suggesting if he was a hot Indian 20 year old guy that she would not have done that to him? That ties into the premise of this thread and what I also asserted from the get-go. That was before I found out he has a family and successful business, all of which is different then how sub-5s normally are.

Unless the police officers were also largely brain-dead, they should have known that every large retail store has multiple security cameras. The first thing they should have done was request security footage from Walmart staff.

I agree with the original premise of the thread which is a black pill sort of angle.

I just don’t think the family or business success piece made any difference at the store because he was alone. It was only somewhat helpful after he got arrested.

If he had his wife with him in the store, then he might have been perceived as more “safe” and might have gotten a slightly better reaction. And the police could have questioned his wife too as she would have been a witness.

And I agree with everybody that the police should have reviewed the video recordings. That’s a no brainer.

Anyway, he was a good guy who meant well and did nothing wrong. He unfortunately had a number of factors against him: age, looks, being alone, ethnicity, and very questionable police work.

Even so, the false accusation charge itself was too rough and just terrible. Single guys aren't interested in anyone's children or babies.

In fact, he likely intervened there because he was a family man who had a daughter and was very grounded with his situation to offer asssistance. It's more likely a single guy that was looking to hit on a girl would not have seen that type of woman as a target in the first place and probably would have not even noticed her child. Guess that would be the irony of the whole thing.

Let me be your guide in the world of colored people.

You said Atlanta (IIRC I'm painting taking a wuick break) is predominantly black. A black cop will be will double down on biases towards another black person. Why? Because the cop is scared OTHER people will say " aaaah those blacks are doing favors for one another ". He will be twice as biased and annoying. Same goes for Latinos Arabs Indians ect.

Welcome in the world of colored people.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
