"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Me and my gf of 3 months were driving up to her place and out of the blue she says some guy asked for my number at work today. I looked at her chuckled and said you should give him your number he would prolly take you shopping and youd get some free meals out of the deal. She looked at me somewhat in shock and said no i didnt give him my number i got yours and thats all i want. I think i handled this test well, what do u guys think

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

You handled the test well, although I would have followed up her "I got you..." with "That's right. You're a lucky gal", and a smile and a wink.

You have to realize that some of the things you say in response to her tests are going to make her mad. That doesn't necessarily mean that you handled it poorly. The way to pass her tests is to show her that you live in your own reality. Whose reality do you live in, yours or hers?

I apologize for the duplicate posts. I hit the "Post now" button more than once.

You handled it perfect. You showed that you aren't the least bit concerned either way. I don't like the advice from the guy above me because it makes it seem like you have to go out of your way to tell her how 'lucky' she is to have such a 'cool guy'. Let her come to her own conclusions based on your reaction.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Look at the context of the situation. Do you really think it was a **** test or was she just telling you about her day and the only emotionally relevant thing that happened to her that she cared to talk about? I think the later.

Your girlfriend will get hit on and they may talk about it with you, that does not make it a **** test… I mean it’s only natural that they get hit on man… the problem is if you get all jealous and weird or get angry with her because of it… you handled it perfectly but I don’t think it was a **** test.

My interpretation:

JoeBlow comes to sosuave > learns about shyt tests > anything a girl says that gets him oddly emotional or quirks him in an odd way he interprets as a “shyt test” and responds like a “DJ”… cool calm and collected. Maybe even has a clever turn around for the situation. And it works OMG! lol

A natural MAN is out with his GF > his GF gets hit on > natural man laughs it off because he’s secure in himself and knows that A. if she’s worth a damn she’ll blow the guy off B. If she doesn’t she’s not worth your time anyway.

Both situations were the right way to act and ended ok… just different paths to getting there.

Her answer was great though, shows she really digs you.

xblitz44x - Anything said with pure manly confidence is perfectly fine. You can sy “you’re a lucky gal.” You are not correct here. Letting a woman’s mind come to its own conclusions instead of guiding them to where you want them to be is certainly not a better choice of direction. Silence breeds conclusions that are consistent with her frame not the one you want her to have.

Whether or not you say the WORDS "You're a lucky gal" isn't a big deal, as long as, if you do say it, you say it with a fun tonality, not in a serious tone. It's the ATTITUDE you have--you're confident, secure, because you know you're good stuff.

Now, she might have told you to get a reaction from you--her subtle way of letting you know that other guys find her attractive. Or she might have told you because she would have felt guilty keeping it to herself. Either way, it aounds that you handled her tests well.

I'm willing to bet the farm that she told him because she was proud that somebody hit on her. Nothing wrong with that though. It just made her feel good.

I use to work at a bar, and my girlfriend would swing by and hang out. At the end of the night, on the drive home we'd have the "How many people hit on you?" contest. She won just about every time. But that's because I don't have 5 thousand dollars worth of work hanging from my chest.

Solid response, you did not lose your cool and turn AFC.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
