That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Week 1 day 1
I am tryin to be more sociable. I used to be extremely anti-social due to child hood trauma. Pretty much any social advance towards me I terminated with extreme prejudice.

I have already done the day 1 exercises making eye contact and smiling at people. I smilled at this cute red head at the gym and got a big smile back which felt nice.

Said hi to this one chick on campus who looked just glared at me.

I am a 21yr old jr in college. I am still a virgin since I have never been comfortable being physically close to someone outside of sparring or a fight. Something I am trying to change.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

Just to comment on that....I have had a girl sometimes look at me and smile and I would be cold about it and ignore her. But, that was if I was having a bad day.

So remember when sh1t like that happens, it's not your fault. The girl could be having a bad day, she could simply be a b1tch or just stuck up, ect.

Whatever the case, you're not missing out, so don't let it get you down.

Talking to people a little more. Having to call people for donations for my university is helping me get more comfortable talking to people.

One chick in my geo lab is either into me or using me. She makes strong eye contact with me, smiles and asks me for help at least once during each lab. I give her some help.

When I talk to someone I try to be a smart ass to make them laugh and it usually works.
