dealing with compliments

Hey,

How do you guys handle it.

I used to play it down with a joke or put it in perspective because it embarassed me *which would sort of fish out another compliment


but now I just say thank you.

ANy good ways when meeting people. I find it awkward and it sort of gives me nothing to work with in the conversation.

No, but seriously, usually my face just lights up with a big smile and I'm really happy and say thanks...but then I turn it back on them and return some kind of compliment straight away...usually keeps the conversation moving...but then again what would I know, I'm stillf rAFC...
