"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Last week I broke up with my girlfriend of 8 months. She was my 6th girlfriend in the last 5 years and was hoping for her to be the last because I honestly love her. She's great and loves me dearly. Though my temptation to cheat has become insatiable. As hard as I try to be faithful, my eye wanders and since March I've made out with like 6 random chicks. Never had sex with anyone else, but got dangerously close. Part of the problem was I only got to see her on weekends since we work and she lives a hour away. I broke up with her because I felt that I didn't want to string her along while I **** other chicks because she doesn't deserve that. Plus I'm only 23 and still feel that I need to get my life together and gain more life experiences before I can seriously commit to someone. Though I can't hide the fact that I still love her and not quite ready to let go. Was I right to breakup with her before I really ****ed things up or should have I sucked things up and been a 1 woman man?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

You aren't married, and you aren't 25. Why again are you posting in this forum? Take this weak stuff back to the Don Juan Discussion.

Well, all I'm saying is that I want to look back and say that I did I the best I could while I was stuck in this place. Had as much fun as I could while I was stuck in this place. Played as hard as I could while I was stuck in this place... Dogged as many girls as I could while I was stuck in this place.

Love the new interest in my thread. Long story short, we got back together and then mutually broke up as it was clear that things weren't working. I realized very quickly that I should only commit to someone who I feel is this best person for me period and not just at the moment. Thanks guys
