Dating someone in the media industry

I met this woman at a local event regarding something we're both passionate about, in fact it was the geek culture. Turns out we also work in the media. Her in radio, me online. Granted she is attractive, small and petite, but easy to talk to. Of course, sharing some of these things does help break the ice so it's hardly cold approaching.

When I got home, we tagged each other's photos and such.

The thing is though, I was wondering if she gets asked out all the time...even in person...that I'll just seem like white noise to her? I did ask her out after I got home, waiting on an answer as it typically takes her about a day to get back to her messages.

But I'm thinking since she's a member of the media industry she's got a line of messages and friends request BOTH industry related and social. So there's kind of a blur there between the two, which probably makes such an industry so fun to be in (probably doesn't pay much though).

ALL hot chicks get hit on all the time... Fives and sixes get hit at least once a week. SO if you don't act like a man and be direct in what you want, you have already lost. Get her on a date and see what happens. If she wont go out with you, put her out of your mind and go get other chicks.

You are already fvcking up by thinking about a women that hasn't gone out with you. She should be nothing to you until she meets you on a date.
