"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Yeah, I ran over the same problem.

Well Id say it has its pros and cons.

First off, the pros.
Other guys in your class will know you "want" her, and they're gonna back off, at least most of them.
Eventually, everyone will see you as the soon to be "couple", you'll have her for yourself really.

Cons: you have to talk to her 8 hours aday if she really likes you :p
It can turn out to be too fast than you want it, relationship speaking that is.

You can also tell if she dislikes you, IE: she's avoding you by talking to other guys.

Goodluck with it, you'll fix it ;)

Dating girls from class at college is not at all weird or awkward unless you make it weird or awkward.

The trick here is simple: DO NOT BECOME HER FRIEND.

Here it is, asking a girl out from class 101: You want to talk to this girl after class, once, or twice, or three times, but not four. Have a couple pleasant 30-second conversations, you should be smiling, laughing about something, you want to be totally NONCHALANT, but also not distracted. Answer her questions tersely, don't blabber, and smile. Ask her something about herself, and then when you have class a few days later, bring it up in some other context, probably in a neg-hit type of comment. Then, the third time you converse with her, preferrably on a monday or tuesday, you get her number. Don't disguise getting her number as something for homework, or tell her it's for anything specific. Just walk out of class with her, chatting about something small, and when you get fifteen feet out the door, stop her and before you turn to leave, tell her "hey, we should hang out sometime. why don't you give me your number, and I'll call you up." Already have your phone in your hand, and be looking at it, ready to type in the number. Don't say "thanks," or anything else. Hit talk, call her, and tell her she has your number in her phone now, and you'll give her a call. Say bye, smile, walk away.

Wait until Friday. Call her at about 1:30PM, and ask her to meet you that night for an early, impromptu date, something fun and informal. She probably won't have big plans for the early part of the night at least, and if she does, that's fine, you can ask her out again with more warning next week. Kino, kiss, and you're in.
