I was reading today, that piers are romantic.
I'm probably getting a bit boring about this but I reckon farmers markets are awesome venues. Woman are natural gatherers they love poking around. And you can buy cheap hand food and a coffee which fits perfectly with walking around and keeps the date cheap.
Walking around the lake and feeding the ducks is also fantastic. Don't feed them bread it's like feeding the poor bastards Maccas. Cook brown rice with plenty of oil and peas and corn they love that. You can work in how you love to cook and your favourite recipe related travel story and ask her what she likes to cook where she's been and blah blah blah. Of course I also turn up on my motorbike and give them a ride so bonus points if you can work in a tough and tender routine.

Btw date ideas I mentioned were for early going out phase. So you've done the deed and are showing her that you're a fun guy with different sides to you For a first date I'd go with Espi s idea. Build a little bit of comfort with initial standard chit chat and then escalate like a mofo.
With these routines I've had numerous girls that I've bedded say in a confused manner that they just felt so comfortable with me. Like I had flown under the radar and not activated their ASD.
Of course then I have to decide whether to toss them back or not which is the part of being a DJ that I don't like. Even though I know they would be twice as ruthless I don't have that titanium skin and emotion control chip like say g1000 or is that T1000 ;-) But hey it's a high quality problem to have.
