"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ok right, so I just asked this Myspace girl out on a date. We had been talking on MSN for a few weeks and I think we have lots in common. Were going to be meeting at the mall to eat at the food court before we go to see a movie. I know I know, I shouldn’t have asked her out to a movie but she was the one hinting at that. Anyways were going on Saturday, and I’m going to call her on Friday to confirm the Showtime and what time we will meet, and where we will meet.

Now I have a few questions for the experts:
1) Which part should I be paying for?
2) When I meet her should I just give her a handshake?
3) When we leave should I try to give her a hug?

Thanks again.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

messaging for "weeks" was way too long

no hugs, no handshakes. When you meet her, you can touch her in some casual way as you smile and say hello, maybe touch her hand, but don't shake hands like you would with a guy.

myspace girls tend to get little trust as far as paying their way. I still usually pay, but never for anything that amounts to more than a few bucks. If the money sets you back at all, then it is appropriate for her to at least offer to pay half.

You need to kiss her on the first date, or she will lose interest. Read up on the "kiss test" material. I never get very far past stroking a girl's hair before she is the one kissing me. myspace girls have a short attention span; you have to be exciting.

She is not a typical Myspace girl though, and I wanted to get to know her before I decided to meet her thats why I talked to her for weeks. It seems odd to go on a date with a complete stranger dont you think?

Il be sure to read up on this kiss test.
