"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I went out with this Brazilian girl we went to a bar to get couple margaritas and some food (she was feeding me, giving me her drink etc)..Everything was great good convo flowing, laughs etc.. Then it god bad she asked me if i remembered her name, and i forgot it. So she looked kind of dissapointed. And i think that messed up for me,at the end of the date got kiss on the cheek, and she said we will talk/go out again.

So im walking home and she calls 10 minutes later, i dont pick up. She left a message it wasnt very clear because she was little tipsy but thats what i understood from it. It may not be exact but its what i got from it.

"Hi Luke i just want to say i had a awesome time, we had a great interesting convo, and if you want to go out again its up to you. Sorry for being 10 min late.. Honestly i dont know im still processing the information your really cute, fun and smart but i just dont know. I would love to go out with you again as friends i just dont know your really cute and really fun to be around. By the way not remembering my name is not cool, learn it and save my#, we will go out again. Im going to sleep goodnight sweetheart."

So i dont know right now she probably wants to stay as friends, and she may be a little undecided the main reason may be. because i forget her name i think that definitely messed up for me.

Im thinking of sending her an email and apologizing, yea some of you may say so AFC, but i think it is kind of disrespectful actually very disrespectful not remembering your date's name in the middle of the date..

Any suggestions what to say in the email, or what to do, so she i guess forgets about the mishap(hard to forget that lol i know) and we can start from scratch or just continue where we left of on the date before the mishap..

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

You're fine in my book, if she was really not into you, she wouldn't have bothered to call at all. That's the way I see it. The name thing is just her neg-hitting you. Don't apologize, just make a joke out of it and keep moving with this girl, you're doing fine.

If I were you, from now on, every once in a while act like you don't remember her name, it's a perfect inside joke.

Becker,

I was hoping you would be right:D.. But i guess we werent i went online for a couple of min and she messaged me..

She basically asked me if i received the voicemail and asked what i thought about it..... I told her it was pretty lol and that i wasnt sure what to think about it... She said that im very cute and interesting but the chemistry wasnt there ( i dont know having a convo throughout the whole night, her laughing, having fun, little bit of touching, feeding) that sounds like just a bit of chemistry but maybe im lost.... Then she asked if we can go out as friends and have fun... I said i guess, i dont see a problem.. Then she was like im happy that we live close to one another, cuzz we can go out and get drunk..( I was thinking yea whatever in my head lol)

So yea i guess all is not lost, but its not great when a girl tells you after the first date she wants to be friends, who knows maybe it will change after we see each other couple of times.. But im dissapointed a little

Yankees - next time you see 'Rumpelstiltskin' go for the kiss - if she shuns you then laugh it off and then go home - unless you truly want to be her 'friend'/drunk buddy!!

Tell her your dog is your best friend and you don't need another one! Never become a friend to a girl who you are attracted to!!

wtf! dont email her! u played it just right! by not remebering her name, u give her the impression that u know many other girls and she has to work for ur attention! and she calls and give that message. if you fuked it up, she wouldn't have called you. DO NOT EMAIL HER. email is only good if ur phone is broken. Call her, get another meet, if she doesnt something good say "awww ur so cute..<name>" and emphasis on her name. she'll feel special and u go in for the kiss. escalate and boom, next thing u know, ur posting a LR.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
