Lmao my parents are mad chill.

They know I have a fake ID, alcohol and condoms. I told them I fvcked a girl and I go clubbing and they even picked me up once. They know I've smoked weed, but they don't encourage that or drinking.

Of course, I got cough, but it's better to come clean and you'll be surprised how your parents will react good to it.

Yea some parents are just very chill about everything but other parents just freeak out about everything and dont know how to let off on their kids.

About a year ago my dad happened to find a condom in one of my shorts pockets in the laundry (i have no idea how, my mom does the laundry), but he told me my mom never saw it and that if she did she would freak out. Then my dad gave me possibily one of the most awkward talks I've ever had with him in my entire life. He like told me to get into the car with him to drive to the CVS for something and I was like "Huh why do I have to go?" and he just told me to get in the car. Then like out of nowhere he just asks "Are you having sex with your girlfriend!?" Then he proceeded to tell me about all the possible consequences, and the whole thing just turned out to be very weird.

If my parents ever found a bottle of rum though they would kill me.

I've been drinking since younger than 18...my parents would buy me it until I was of legal age. It's pretty normal over here (UK)

And for the sex/condom thing. It's pretty standard for most guys to carry a condom in their wallet. I'd say most kids with decent popularity have had sex by time they're 17. And if not by 19, then you're doing pretty damn sh1t. My mum personally knows I shag around quite a bit, and she asks to make sure I'm using condoms because she doesn't want me getting no AIDS or some girl pregnant.

(naively assuming most of you are from the states) Do lots of you have really strict parents? Booze and condoms (even at a youngish age, like 17 or even younger) are very normal here -- my parents would never have freaked out about either at all..

My dad even handed me a joint once, I said to him "I dunno, smoking weed with parents seems wrong", he replies "Don't get too caught up on sensiblities now". He's always let me drink his beer which is pretty chill I guess, some might think thats a bit odd too, but hey whatever.

I leave condoms and booze lying about the place with out fear of any repercussions, except for the fact that the booze may get drunk "beer tax" he calls it - although even when he does drink it he pays me back more than what its worth.

It's also funny when he tries to impart his knowledge of women on me, it always seems a bit like sosuave lite.

Oh and on a completely unrelated incident he passed out drunk on the front lawn last week.
