Ivermectin was invented in 1975, and has been used as an anti parasitic since it’s discovery. It is FDA approved for that use. It has shown some anti-viral properties in research done years ago.
It is off-label for any other use.
The CDC, EMA and WHO have been very clear that no research has proven its effectiveness as an anti-viral.
When used on label for its prescribed it is very safe at the correct dosages. Imbeciles thinking it wil cure cases of Covid overdosed on it. Darwin approves.
repeat there Is no credible research that provesits effectiveness as an anti-viral.
Period, full stop.
The idea that ivermectin could be a coronavirus treatment began gaining steam in spring 2020, when Australian researchers observed that the medicine killed the virus in-vitro. So does bleach, would you ingest it or inject it?!?! The findings had notable caveats, however. For one, the amount of drug required to have an effect on the virus was much higher than the amount approved for use in humans, and could be fatal. And lab-based tests, where the drug and virus interact in a petri dish, also don’t account for the complexities of the human body.
Hey want to use it? Do it please!

The media can't mention Ivermectin without lying about what it is. Ivermectin is an antiviral drug, not a "horse dewormer" or whatever else they like to call it. If people are dying because they took the wrong doses, the blame for that is on those that prevent doctors from prescribing appropriate doses.
