Culture in general is being devastated. With women being the most vulnerable to this, it's no surprise that they're collapsing on themselves much more quickly.
There AREN'T a whole lot of women out there fit to be mothers...and some of the ones who THINK they are are furthest from.

It's a confusing, mixed-up time. Society and what's best for it to function have evolved very rapidly in this technological/information age in which different traits have different (for lack of a better term) "survival value" than was the case centuries ago, which is a very short period in terms of the evolution of a species.
I expect it'll get worse for some time (perhaps exceeding the lifetime of everyone here), and eventually get better as people get better "centered". Right now, people are "all over the place," so to speak.
