You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
No Bvgger that for a game of tin soldiers, the meek may well inherit the Earth, but only after the strong have walked all over us,and taken what they want.At 41 I’ve really taken a look internally. Just stay humble.
For a visual on this, watch Sly on Netflix and listen to Stallone describe Rocky. It’ll bring a tear to your eye.Have humility. Date women that have similar personality and believes as you. Have fun with them. My high school girlfriend, my college girlfriend, even my ex wife would have gone the distance if I had not ended things. At 41 I’ve really taken a look internally. Just stay humble.
They also initiate 90% of divorces involving children.View attachment 15398
You have a better chance of winning at the roulette table than to be in a successful marriage lol.
I geuss the number one reason is because men who do get married actually want it WAY more than women...
Eventually the man thinks he can ride it out, while the woman plots her escape.
Your thoughts?
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
I think this is a bit backwards. Women marry solid guys because for most of them the exciting guys won't commit or are unable to provide for them. In most cases they initiate divorces because they married a man they never loved and eventually reach a point in which they want out.Women initiate 70-90% of all divorces because they are HORRIBLE at choosing men. They will bypass solid guys for the tall and/or exciting guy and then realize they have nothing in common or were just fantasizing.
All women know they will win BIG in almost any divorce too. Throw in the fact a HB5 can set up a OLD account and have 100 messages by lunchtime and women today normalize cheating and affairs and you have your perfect storm. So often, they divorce the man and then start their cycle of poor choices all over again. It's sad.
I'm convinced after many relationships and years of dating that women are biologically programmed to be unhappy as a defense mechanism and means of being ultra ultra selective to the point they're never happy with any choice they make.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
I also agree with this. Two things can be true at once. This is side #2 of my post: a woman can't land a top 10% man so they "settle" for whatever they can get. Then, after a few years, they realize they were never in love with the guy and divorce him. Add all this up, sides 1 and 2, and you get women filing for 70-90% of all divorces.I think this is a bit backwards. Women marry solid guys because for most of them the exciting guys won't commit or are unable to provide for them. In most cases they initiate divorces because they married a man they never loved and eventually reach a point in which they want out.
Society has changed in such a way that divorce is a much easier out with little in the way of negative repercussions.
It was actually You, or just them behaving in a bad way making you think about that?if I had not ended things.
Agree but they're not horrible... they're wired to be faithful to their emotions. The real deal is actually to find one who's "good" at choosing men.Women initiate 70-90% of all divorces because they are HORRIBLE at choosing men. They will bypass solid guys for the tall and/or exciting guy and then realize they have nothing in common or were just fantasizing.
This is also true.In most cases they initiate divorces because they married a man they never loved and eventually reach a point in which they want out.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
I served her first and I assure you it does nothing technically. She will develop a narrative just like you will.@viking22 "I think the only solution is just to make it clear from the outset that you don't believe in marriage"
Better yet:
-We can have a tooth and nail political fight to get the government out of marriage entirely https://reason.com/2017/10/21/getting-the-state-out-of-marri/
-Encourage more of our fellow men to serve HER the papers first, the moment she ceases to be anything but entertaining
Hey man!But a lot of these women have an agenda anyway. They want the expensive wedding and honeymoon, they are facing pressure from their family/friends to get married, they want kids, they want the status and social security net that comes from having a rich or at least financially stable husband, but oftentimes they don't actually really want you! And you'll note that women are often the ones initiating marriages as well as divorces sometimes by giving ultimatums, sometimes by dropping big hints, sometimes by getting pregnant on purpose etc.
They also need to have a purpose. An idle woman with too much time on her hands is a ticking time bomb. Women think than an ideal lifestyle involves spending your days shopping, going to the spa, and gossiping with your girlfriends while sipping lattes and wine. But I can promise you that no a single woman who leads that kind of life feels content, let alone happy. On the contrary, they are all on antidepressants. Its the nature of the beast. They are rarely happy for long and need to be in a constant state of flux with their emotional feelings. They are rarely content. I think it's why they all have hormonal cycles and periods and it's a good thing.
Yeah, it's like fighting a tiger with bare hands; because most people know it's statically impossible, the flex becomes even bigger IF you are such an übermensch/ mahn that you can defy the rules and statistics and " make it work".I think the only solution is just to make it clear from the outset that you don't believe in marriage. It will be a dealbreaker for a lot of women. But a lot of these women have an agenda anyway. It just makes no sense to enter into a legal contract that rewards breach of contract.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
