My answer was clear; wear a mask. Are you going to do that?
I wear masks since forever, high protection ones actually its a blessing...it protects from covid and from all that sh1t that dumb fvcks spread around anytime they sneeze openly.

So you suggest yo wear masks ok, what do you suggest to do in terms of shops...keep em open or close? cause your last messages are "quite contradictory" lets say.

Life's hard? You posted a lot about old people having the good spots and the younger people with nothing. That's kind of the way of the world, the older people will die off, and the younger people have to work their way up. When they're older the younger people can complain about them. I had a hard time getting started too, and I thought the times were unkind, but I believe if you continue to work and be resourceful it will usually pay off. Still, some people will always struggle. I'm not against helping the poor, but that's not an economic system.
This is not like the past where the oldies clearly had better position than the young ones...we now have retired people whos income is higher than workers salaries, this is unheard in history especially since they have free healthcare and services which are actually paid from the same young people that cant buy their own house cause they work crappy jobs and dried out in taxes.

This same covid problem its all about fvcking up young people in order to protect oldies, instead of saying "look you are 70 and above retired and with no duties or work, you own your own day so stay at home since this virus can kill you", they simply shut down everything to everyone, people with no salary or work but oldies still getting their money month after month.

Few decades from now people will read about economical and social policies of today world and they will wonder how they hell it happened the same way we now read about arresting homosexuals or jailing teenagers for joints.

Im talking about most europe actually, so it may be different than the us...currently this is not a place for young people.

There you go again with the obfuscation. My position has been clear. There are only two options:

A) No masks + Lockdown

B) Masks + Opened Businesses

I chose option B. Which do you prefer?

Im not a socialist nor a leech therefore I support any option that allows economy to work properly and people to be accountable.

Regarding masks not only I support the use of them but I also fully support draconian measure to force people to wear them in public places.

There’s no need to politicize common sense. Mask use is not an identity. If you want the economy to stay open, wear a mask. It’s a simple concept.

B) Masks + Opened Businesses
B isn't working out so well, at least in my area.

Businesses are limited to a certain amount of customers they can have at any given time. They have to shell out more resources(ppe equipment, dividers, hand sanitizers, etc which eat into their already low profit margins. Some find it's more expensive for them to keep their operation running rather than folding. There's a lot of "for lease" signs from the businesses that folded already.

Our positivity rate is at an all time high even though everyone is required to wear a mask at these businesses and surprisingly, it is mostly the young people I've seen wear masks even outside out and about. Even with these measures, our cases have spiked.

The reason being is people are still having their own private gatherings in their homes.

Now the mayor is threatening to rollback the restrictions and put everything back on lockdown.

Yet the city has already suffered enough in lost tax revenue so a lot of public employment is going to be cut and our property taxes raised by all of this. This will trickle down to the renters in the form of higher rents and they will be pushed out of certain areas and will need to move to questionable areas to afford an apartment.

So bottom line is option B doesn't really solve anything either in reality.

Wide scale mask use is as effective as a vaccine. Although cases are increasing, the hospital system is not as stressed (yet) as it was back in the spring. Lockdown is the last resort mitigation should the ICU thresholds reach capacity again.

Mask use had also been proven to reduce the severity of positive cases (sick people get less sick overall) which in theory will lower the hospitalization rate compared to the no mask baseline.

I don't know where you're pulling that from considering we don't have enough data yet.

I'm not going to engage with you on mask usage as that is another broken record. I respect your beliefs and do not believe in shoving down mine to you. I hope you do the same.

What I find interesting is that everyone is relying on a vaccine when historically vaccines for other viruses like the Influenza has been less and less effective and in some cases only 25% effective in some years in preventing the Flu. With that kind of track record, I don't think people should be overly optimistic or excited about any vaccines except the one your body will naturally produce just like it has for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Also I find interesting that some people will think this will magically go away. Viruses are here to stay and do people really think they can take some magical vaccine every year and wear a mask the rest of their lives to prevent it?

Will even stronger and deadlier strains be the consequence of mutation once people start taking vaccines for this virus just like it has for others?

I'm not going to engage in any arguments but just some thought provoking things that I feel a lot of sheeple are overlooking.

That is false according to Dr. Redfield, head of the CDC.

Beliefs and facts are not synonyms. Don’t imply they are interchangeable. Our beliefs are irrelevant.
Sure, if you wanna believe the CDC. Go right ahead. Just look at the Tuskegee Syphilis Study as a past example to why you shouldn't believe everything the government does.

Lol. There you go putting words in my mouth again... Where did I say anything about facts. Your facts are what you believe in your reality.

Hey, I'm done arguing or debating or whatever it is you like to do. I actually like to enjoy my morning with other things in life.

There you go again - belief belief belief. Don’t accept hand washing, social distancing, and mask use as preventative measures if you think it’s just bullshvt. The data says otherwise.

Haha man, Ok. You do you.
BTW, I do believe that some of these can help temporarily for the masses but it's more of a bandaid to delay the inevitable.

Nope, you cannot "suggest" people to wear masks cause many would not and its not a matter of identity, thats a tool to stop biological fluids carrying viruses.

Its really hard to understand what you stand for, you support big government and moral policing but you disagree with punishments for those who dont obey health laws.

COVID may create a cashless dystopia, but the joke's on the government...we won't have fingerprints left after all the hand sanitizer we're using.

Hand sanitizer and US germaphobes are the reason why US people can't even eat in third world countries without getting sick. Anyone that is a germaphobe is doing their body a disservice by not allowing their bodies become used to or immune to various bacterias.
It's funny site to see some Americans trying to buy street food in various countries and then running for the bathroom shortly after. Lol

Got any facts?

Inflation is the last thing central banks worry about during a recession.
You see it with groceries getting smaller in quantity in a supermarket. A packet of biscuits goes from 150g to 120g then to 100g a few months later. Toliet rolls with less paper and more cardboard as the roll that the paper spins on. They say its a recession here but car sales are booming and normally car sales are first to be affected and last to recover.

Strawman. It’s really amusing the caricatures of me you come up with. Wear a mask.
