The best vaccine is exercise and a good diet. And a little bit of steel balls. Reminder, most men lived to the age of 30 as an average back in the olden days. All of us should be happy we got to the ages we are.

What type of side effect do you have? That's right there is a decimal point risk. But benedryl is hard on the liver isn't it? If your liver ever gets weaker or has issues you can't use that anymore.
People take Benadryl every day in some instances. Once every 2 weeks isn't a big deal I don't think. It's actually been about 3 weeks since it's last happened...basically it's an allergic reaction that starts with a tingling in my scalp and spreads downward and I start turning red. Benedryl cuts it off at the pass and I am good.

If I tell my mother that is also a potential a side-effect she would 100% freak-out. We avoid these types of anti-allergy drugs like the plague. We don't even take it for hay-fever and generally don't trust even over the counter drugs. Unless there is a herbal remedy, like drinking a tea, that can solve that, it would be a problem. We generally see any drug as toxic because drugs are not natural, they are chemical, and made in a laboratory, therefore its bad for the body.

Ehh, I used to think like that but the truth is you absorb more bad crap through your skin on a daily basis than you could ever put in your mouth.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yes and as of right now i will let my immune system take care of it until they get this "experiment" more safe for human consumption
"According to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia , the vaccine is not expected to have long-term negative effects for a few reasons:

-First, most negative effects occur within 6 weeks of receiving a vaccine, which is why the FDA asked the companies to provide 8 weeks of safety data after the last dose.

-Second, the mRNA in the vaccine breaks down pretty quickly because our cells need a way to stop mRNA from making too many proteins or too much protein.

But, even if for some reason our cells did not break down the vaccine mRNA, the mRNA stops making the protein within about a week, regardless of the body’s immune response to the protein."

What is absorbed into the skin? My medical mindset is drugs are bad unless its necessary to sustain life the emergency room in which case there is no choice because drugs themselves wreck havoc on the body system and can produce side effects. That is why it could seem counterintuitive to take a vaccine with a mindset like that because you are deliberaly placing a foreign agent into your system.

If its applied right it makes sense since if you have to start taking 9 different drugs for different issues then you know you are in borrowed time. In this case, someone with long haul covid will likely have to take drugs too. So its very confusing as nobody who gets covid and is umvaccinated planned to get it or they would have been vaccinared.

Toxins in the water everytime you take a shower to start. The skin is your biggest organ, it is absorbing things constantly. The air you breathe is a close second.

Not disputing there's been a virus

Was it released on purpose - Quite possibly

Has it been blown out of all proportion ? - absolutely

Has it caused mass social division ? - absolutely
Has it been politicized to the gills? Used for political gain? No question about it.

Mentioning other vaccines in the same breath as this one is a logical fallacy of the worst order. It's like comparing water and tequila.
Television doesn't work in the same way that the old version did either, but the end result is you can still see the picture.

You get a lot worse than a headache from COVID-19.
I thought you said that you'd get a worst headache from Covid-19, but it seems to suggest something else. What you really mean to say is I "could" get a lot worst. Again, there are no negative guarantees. I may not catch it if there is an invisible spiritual shield that's zapping the virus along with my personal efforts with the n95 masks and gloves, and if I do then it might be asymptomatic. Just like no negative guarantees either with vaccine. I may not have a side-effect at all.

Again, I might remind you that @RickTheToad sounds like a reasonable contribution to the subject. If he's not taking the vaccine and he works in ER then doesn't that say something?

Sure, it shows political identity is more important than common sense.
He's on the left through or is at least silent about that and appears to be talking about his own experience working at ER. What makes you think he's right-politics?

Covid is Not a political issue, it’s a health issue. This Forum is not political and there are rules enforcing that separate issue…

Covid SHOULDN'T be a political issue.

The fact that both parties try to make it into one tells me a lot about how immoral they are on both sides.

Which is why I'm non-political from now on. They're all power-hungry liars.

Nurses walking off their job because they can't take it any longer in this State:

Most of the patients are unvaccinated.

Yes, unfortunately that’s a big part of what’s going to keep this virus going longer, the unvaccinated. Very efficient virus spreaders. The vaccinated get Delta, they mostly seem to have minor difficulties and live on because of the vax. The unvaccinated catch it, many live, some hospitalized, some unfortunately add to the death count.

I am vaccinated.. for me it’s not a political issue. I do not enjoy getting sick... when people say it’s just a bad flu and you will be fine... I say screw that... if I can lessen the severity or avoid getting it... I will take the shot.

Regardless a few months back me and my friends went on a spring winery trip. Day two of the trip one of their wives starts going off about the vaccine and how it’s an experimental conspiracy. Fast forward two weeks ago..... her husband gets deathly sick while on a business trip. Comes home... 3 days later she is sick and even worse in the hospital. Both had covid.... both now say man the shot would have been better.

And with the virus still circulating around... It just gives it more time to mutate into even more variants!!!

Hopefully we'll get lucky and it will mutate into something less harmful. That's actually what ended the SARS epidemic. Although that sounds unlikely because by natural selection, it would mutate into something that is more contagious.
