I have a semi-formal on Saturday for my collegiate cross country team. Guys wear ties and girls can come in nice dresses. Bringing a date is advisable, but not necessary. I would like to bring myself a date. I have asked two of my friends so far, and they said they were going home or going home early to study. Is there a possibility of meeting a girl early this week and successfully asking her to the semi? I need some help about how to go about this. Thanks in advance.

Of course it can be done.

It just won't be easy.

Monday- Go out and find girls. Get numbers, a few numbers would be good.

Tuesday- See monday. Then tuesday night, call the girls, ask them for a short coffee date-Starbucks-anything that will not take more then 1 hour.

Sometime during the rest of the week, wed, thurs, have the date. While on date, if things go well, ask her out to the formal event.

Bottom line, it can be done. Just a matter of how much effort you want to put into it . . .

P.S. - Me personally, I'm a lazy fvck, so if it was a month away, i'd do it, but why did you wait until you only had only one week?
