"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I have no problem starting conversations with girls in public that look unique. We have lots of art students in this area so often you'll see a person exercising a weird style. Just this moring at the train station I saw a girl with "hippie hair" that look like dried french fries. So I commented whether I could have one of her fries :) and had a small pleasant conversation. However, for the life of me I can't find conversation hooks with normal looking people. I consider myself observant but often people just don't look that different from the norm. I kind of gave up on the "Hi, where you heading" kind of opener for my train approaches. I found that slightly humorous openers work better. Any idea how to tease on ordinary looking people?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Have you tried stacking canner material? When I can't find anything unique, sometimes I'll use the "who lies more" opener and transition to some fun stories. Pretty much every non-dynamic opener I use I get from masf. Man, they have *everything* there.

Or, I'll just say whatever happens to be on my mind at the time. I remember I was in such a good mood one time, I successfully opened with "I have a pink cookie!"

Well, it was one of those sugar cookies with the pink frosting. I picked it up a few miles away, so I could transition from there into the story of what I was doing in Seattle.

Anyhow, the point is this: It doesn't have to be something interesting or unique about the girl. It could also be something fun or interesting that you can show to her.
