Control your emotions. Women win through emotion

I think one of the most important things men have to remember is to keep your emotions in check at ALL TIMES.

Remember, women win and make you look like a fool though EMOTION. If you LOSE your emotions, if you care MORE than her, you will lose the game with her. Women can't overpower men physically, so what do they do? They attack you EMOTIONALLY. This shuts you up, this makes you nervous, this attacks your self esteem, this makes pensive, this makes you behave "proper", this makes you quiet as a mouse, just the way she wants. Whatever she thinks is your power, your source of happiness, she will destroy it and threaten you if she doesn't get her way. "If you don't do things my way, you will be alone forever! If you don't do things on my terms, no one will have sex with you! If you don't give in to me, you won't find any other woman!"

The same women will who will threaten to leave you and abandon you sexually for life, is the same women that would love you if you gave her a job with a 6-figure salary. They can behave proper, just only if they get their "way." If they don't get their way, the insults and attacks fly off the shelf. So learn not to take women seriously and control your emotions at all times.

Others have replied how the ancient philosophy of Stoicism [when philosophy was moral philosophy] helps in keeping a rational check on emotions. No doubt there is truth in this, but then there is also the other side of moral philosophy where the Epicureans advocated their cause.

I think the essence of Epicureanism [too often seen as the philosophy of pleasure] is that though we should live with desire and pleasure in mind, we should sublimate the lower pleasures to the higher ones. I think out of this culture, came a powerful tradition of art.

A perfect moral philosophy would no doubt incorporate both of these in a higher synthesis.
