Background:
I am in college right now (living at home for financial reasons so limited ability to do things at night) and frankly haven't seen many girls on campus I am interested in. On top of that, meeting girls in my normal routine is difficult in my degree (Comp Eng) and my job (lab tech); I could try more but my effort is limited.
Background TL;DR: busy college student
A few months ago I went on a single coffee date with on girl but was too busy to ever schedule something afterwards immediately; when I finally did try, she said she was leaving for out of town for two weeks the next day (factual based on her snapchat stories afterward) but seemed interested in the idea with some attempt to plan something before she left (I was busy, so couldn't do). I told her to let me know when she got back so we could plan something and she never did. Now, three months later, I haven't seen any other girls I am interested in (no, don't have oneitis, just sort of picky and not really into casual sex) and I am wondering if it is even worth my time to contact her. Advice on if I should? And, if I do, should I start with small talk or go right into asking her out again? I don't ever see her in person so this would be over social media, messaging or the phone.
TL;DR: Is it worth contacting a girl I haven't talked to in three months? If so, best strategy?
Thanks in advance
