The next time you are about to send a text, email or voice mail - STOP and ask yourself: what is the overall theme of the message you are sending?

Is it political? Is it whiny? Is it negative? - Then don't send it.

In general, it is best to only send messages that are romantic, funny, or which formalize plans. Remember: she will eventually associate receiving a message from you with some feeling. Make sure it is a good one.

PS - This is another reason NOT to have your significant other(s) as FB friends, for there is no way to follow the above rules when you have 100 guy friends reading also.
