"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

You can get confidence for free and I know how! well its free as you do not have to work for the confidence but its not free in the monetary sense. So what you do is send a cheque to... just kidding, so heres what you do, go out and buy expensive clothes, not only will you look better but physcolgicaly you will think the clothes are better then some one who does not know they are expensive and so when you walk around in them you will feel a lot better aobut your image then if you had just bought them form the 99c store, even if someone else colud not tell the diffrence. I dont think $150 is a bad price to pay for making yourself belive you look good.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I think he means "emotionally" free, in that buying clothes isn't something that leads to rejection. Mind you, have you ever tried to buy $150 jeans? The people in those kinds of places are snobbier than British Royalty.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Sorry to have to disagree but this is crappy advice. No one should have to buy expensive clothes to achieve self confidence.

Self confidence CAN be achieved through clothes but there's no reason they should be expensive. If you wanna feel confident through clothing, ask a girlfriend or maybe a female coworker to go shopping with you.

A better and more solid way to achieve self confidence is to get it from within. Doesn't cost a thing, it is absolutely free, and guess what? You won't even have to spend any money!

Hmm... well I don't think you can acheive self-confidence purely by buying some new designer clothes. However I do think it certainly helps.

Can also help when you've been dumped/rejected etc... retail therapy??

If "clothes make the man", then you weren't that much of one to begin with.

Besides, who's stupid enough to pay $150 for someone's name on your pants. I'm sure you can get jeans just as good for a lot less.

Yes you could do this or you could work hard and gain true confidence that won't wear off when you take the clothes off. Clothes are nice and all but get some real confidence that you get when you are comfortable in your own skin.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

The problem with this is that you are relying on the external, material, superficial for your confidence.

If you are not confident in yourself then you do have a problem. If you maintain strong beliefs and values, you should have nothing to fear. But this cannot be achieved by buying clothes. When you do this you are only "confident" in that other people will like you more, not that you will like yourself more. You shouldn't depend on other people to uphold your character. By doing that you are giving them your soul.

All confidence comes from being sure of yourself. When you rely on others to make the rules, how can you ever be sure of yourself? Your life depends on their standards, so you can only measure yourself through their opinions.

Not my way to live.

Where ever I am
I don't think you guys are getting what he's trying to say.
THis isn't supposed to by THE main or even close to the main way of getting and mainting good confidence levels.
This is more of a fake it until you make it aproach for guys who need the artifical confidence, so they can a get boost and get some real sustaniable inner-confidence. Or those with an little stronger external locus of control then where they probaly should be.

I like what you said. But how much would you spend on pants or a shirt?
