"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I mean, it’s a bit of a dramatic title to be fair

but I wanted it to be striking to make a point, which is the psychological struggles of being someone who has applied a high volume day-game/night game for many years, but who has never truly successfully integrated within any kind of social circle, always maintaining distance from most groups. At times, sure having pretty profound connections, but overall maintaining a very small circle, and feeling quite disconnected from society overall.

One of the main points I’m trying to get across is that eventually for some of us anyway, the game becomes more of a burden than anything else, recently a friend of mine said I don’t envy being in your position. He was married with children at that point, however, there was a time when we used to commiserate throughout the process. He also struggled like all of us have, but eventually found a wife.

But it kind of struck me at what he said, I wouldn’t envy you because for the first time, I didn’t think he was just saying that because he was secretly jealous, for the first time, it made sense. The game stopped being fun.

And I’m not trying to make my message universal, it’s just that for many of us, the game doesn’t really make sense, often it’s because of a cultural mismatch, one of the things that I sometimes think about is, it’s tough to be good looking, intelligent but broke because you end up getting much less attractive women as in u consistently end up hitting below your weight class especially in westernized countries.

The game is supposed to be fun, right? It’s supposed to be hard, but not that hard. You shouldn’t lose all your enthusiasm on the way to the end game. When it takes too long and too much energy/effort for the lay or for the romance, then the game ceases to be fun. That’s why I say it’s better to be rich. If you truly wanna have a great game experience. Why? Because you still get sh1t tested but the process becomes a lot more enjoyable, you get access to more leads, they come to you more often, etc. It’s almost about not screwing up than anything else.

Sometimes people make it sound like the game gives you these amazing tactics that make life so much more fun and interesting, which is true, but I think it’s kind of overrated. If it were up to me, I would have exited the Game 3 to 5 years ago. But I kind of bought into the Kool-Aid a bit, thinking I was going to have this incredible experience thinking my skillset would accumulate until I was eventually a “master” but really you end up plateauing real quick in my experience. There is no master level unless it’s also combined with major external reconfigurations. If you truly want lots of experiences and actually want to enjoy the process, I think more than anything it’s about increasing your material circumstances/Geomaxxing, otherwise it kind of feels like you’re training to be an Olympic athlete only need to win a McDonald’s happy meal type of thing. It just doesn’t feel worth it anymore and I’ve secretly felt that way for a long time, but I refused to admit it to myself. Why? Partly because I used Game/sex as a diversion for so long that life without it almost felt meaningless.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I’ve been reading the no-contact thread lately, and there are countless former members offering cutthroat, but non-misogynistic, logical advice. I can’t help but wonder whether many of them simply reached their finish line, whatever that meant for them, and moved on.

Life is all about trade-offs. You can get a bigger house with a longer commute, pursue a hotter woman who has plenty of options and may act on them, or choose one with fewer options. You can accept lower pay in exchange for working from home or enter a committed relationship knowing that some of your needs will eventually have to be compromised. Alternatively, you be be with countless women, only to eventually become a part of their past, with no meaningful connection remaining.

At the end of the day, people have to assess whether the ROI is worth the sacrifices. What matters is whether the end result justifies the investment to such person.

Great thread. One thing I notice is that, having hung out with some guys here in the past, eventually people move on. Most of "The Game" was a phase to help with their confidence; they now have girlfriends or even wives.

For me, the game was everything when I first got started at 24. I was obsessed like a mad scientist, reading theory and field reports, and on the weekends seeing what works for me and what didn't, then reporting back with a field report or two. Now the thought of doing all that is exhausting. The last few years I've been through the ringer, man, from my mother dying to losing a third of my income from a side hustle that stalled.

I'm 42 now, and sure, I still go on dates. I still enjoy women's company, but far less compared to my 30s and definitely far less than my 20s. One thing I worked on was a social circle, creating one from scratch and joining one that had successful people in their 30s living the life. But it all felt superficial and now I hang out with what I call Tech nomads (guys who are in AI/Crypto). I don't see them often but it's refreshing to hang out with guys who are not game obsessed and into what I'm into. I used to run with some guys not just on this forum but also PUA's I met in the wild and they didn't care about friendship they just wanted a wingman to help them mack on chicks. It felt very transactional, like so if we didn't do game, we wouldn't hang out that's one of the reasons I refuse to meet people of the forum now. I don't need a wingman; I can go solo.

.I'm a spiritual dude, meaning I believe in God aka Jesus, and eventually even hooking up with randoms felt empty. But I remember at 29 it hit me, after a booty call situation ended with a single mother, that I might not be getting married, not because I don't want to, but because finding someone whose values and morals were compatible with mine felt impossible.

Now I'm at a stage where I'm focused on myself again, so I'm not really out there like that. But I think eventually, for most of us the game evolves and we move on to other things in life.

I went through a phase about 5 years ago where I was slaying it with women. Multiple, very good looking women who I had made into plates. It is exhilarating as a man to be having sex with multiple women who are all very good looking at the same time. I had 2 who I routinely saw and slept with (who I had consider a HB 8 and HB 8.5 respectively) and then sort of rotated a third woman in and out using OLD. I was coming from a place of abundance and the women I was meeting could sense it and it seemed effortless to keep getting new women. Was a great time and I look back on it fondly. "The Game" during this time was very satisfying for me as a man.

However, after about a year I began to start to feel worn down by the constant driving and trying to stay on top of it of managing multiple women. I ended up settling down with an LTR with my favorite. Since the LTR ended about a year and a half ago, I have thought about going full throttle into plate spinning again, but a part of me sort of feels over it. I have a single plate now who I see who is fairly drama free and is fun in bed. I won't lie we have been seeing each other now for awhile and I have felt that itch creeping in to get back out there. But I don't think I would ever go back to full on plate spinning again with more than 2 women at a time. Not sure if it is age, having a lot of other commitments and goals in life outside of women, or maybe a combination of the two. But "The Game" has minimal importance to me at this time.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

@SpartanWarrior77 "The game stopped being fun"

Revisit the earliest literature on self-development, beginning with The Taoists and The Stoics... "The Game"(Aka. Life) isn't SUPPOSED to be a leisurely stroll down the shores of Galapogos 24/7. Ex:

Simply getting out of bed when the alarm rings each morning, washing, throwing on deodorant + Fresh clothes, combing whatever hair one has left, and going out into the fresh air each day often requires NOT capitulating to our powerful visceral urges: Hang around the residence wearing the exact same duds we slept in, don't shower or shave, and refuse to going outside, in favor of watching crap on streaming and ordering everything off of Doordash or Grubhub

NOT allowing oneself to be overwhelmed by those urges often requires a fair amount of effort(I.E. This ain't entirely "fun"), nonetheless it's a necessity, at least for those who's yearning to plunge headfirst into an abandoned mine shaft of despair is more non-existent than Anne Hathaway's commitment to avoid exposing her own vapidness in public
