So i finish watching the DC-Chelsea game on ESPN2, then i see that "great american events" is next. I think alright, maybe something about baseball or football. After the announcer started talking i slowly realized that it was about people eating...professionally. For the first few minutes i thought it was a parody making fun of hot-dog eating contests or something, but when the announcer refered to contestants as "professional competitive eaters" and some as "rookies", said there was a professional competitive eaters association and started analyzing their stances, chewing motions and speed at which they grab the food and stuff it in their mouth i almost fell out of my chair.

I will come out and say it. This country is retarded beyong any repair.

Honestly, if people want to shove 40 hot dogs into their mouths, it's fine with me...But when they try to argue that it's a real sport like football or baseball is where I draw the line.
