Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

So when I first started out, probably like a lot of you, I was worried about a "laundry list" of actions to take to "make a girl like me". I would consciously think about negs, what teasing words I should say, when/how to kino.

But I realized it really comes down to just enjoying the interaction, almost like when you were a kid and you did whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted. There was no past or future, there was just the present moment.

Being in this state will likely end up provoking the HB to be in this state as well, making her feel like a little girl again (and if it doesn't, who wants her anyway).

This way, escalation doesn't become forced or self-conscious. Instead, the interaction develops at its own pace. I've noticed that if I interacted with a HB, bringing out her inner girl, if I go weeks without seeing her, when I see her next she will seek me out and I can pick up where we left off. I'm assuming it's because of the way I make her feel when she's around me.

I used to be so worried about the kiss, so conscious about it. But when you let the interaction develop in this way, it feels like it's no big deal, that it's just part of the whole thing. Each step in kino escalation is so comfortable and no big deal. I mean, the other day, I was grabbing a girl's ass as the interaction escalated and it felt like I should've been doing it all along.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I find that if I think about escalation too much, it hinders rather than helps. Things rarely happen the same way in real life that they do when you imagine them and think too much. So I try to "get out of my own way" so to speak and just let it unfold. Good post Teddy

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
