"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Just a little question for you college guys out there:

how does college compare to high school, in the sense of are girls quicker to give it up, and so on? are there the kinda little cliques? will DJ ideas be more applicable because the idea of what "group" you are in isnt as prevelent? im going to college next year, just wondering. Thanks

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It depends upon the size of your school. But the closest thing to a clique is being in a frat or not. So no clique's for the most part, you got your groups of friends but it's not excusive and you shouldn't try to make it exclusive.

Chicks are generally looser in college but you'll get a couple more conservative prude ones, so don't just assume they're all sluts because they're out to meet a great guy, not just a one night stand. Of course if you meet them at a party it's a little different.

I think Eternal had a couple good posts on college.

College is an entire different world than HS. Depending on the college you attend, there is no static social ladder. Everyone is more relaxed.

Well... I went (before I transferred to culinary school) to a school with 35,000 students.

And...

In my personal opinion it was nothing but a large High School, with more access to sex, drugs, and alcohol.

Cliques? They're soros, frats, and millions of clubs... so yes.

Do girls give it up quicker? It may seem that way, but not really... there's just more women, more parties, and more 'substance' consumption.

The game still works, but they're are still social hierarchies and divison... I don't care what anyone says. Because that is something that is throughout life... it just doesn't automatically stop in HS.

So, honestly, I felt like it was different at first, but my sophmore year I was just like, "This is the same old ****, just different place."

Haha, yeah, a big highschool with more work to do, some ways better, some ways worse. I went in to college thinking it was going to be so awesome, but it really is not that much different, so don't get your hopes up.
There is of course a much better selection of girls, and there are more mature women, but there are also many more slu-tty women it seems.... the alcohol plays a huge role. Therefore I just can't stand 50% of the women at my college.
The sorority girls are stupid and bit-chy.
Basically, if you don't like to drink alcohol, and you don't like people who drink it all the time, there isn't a hel-luva lot to do for fun in college, and there aren't a hel-luva lot of people who know anything other than "party."

As far as cliques, there aren't really any of those, which is good. That is the best part of college: everyone is open to meeting new people, and many of the women are lookin'. Everything is more relaxed yes.
I have also noticed, at least at my college, that most women put on some weight while in college. I guess all that fu-ckin drinking gets to them. And once again, many of the THE WOMEN ARE EASY (cough*especially sorority girls*cough)

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
