coffee shop/book store approach

I find myself specializing in approaching women at book stores, coffee shops and the like. How many times have you gone into one of these places to find some HBs studying? Happens to me all the time. Here is the approach:

Me: Hi how are you?
Her: ok
Me: What subject are you studying?
Her: Feminazi 101 (lol). I have a test coming up.
Me: Really, well let's see just how prepared you are. (take her notes, book, cue cards or whatever)
Her: OK.

Start to ask her questions relating to her notes. You can then begin asking her questions totally unrelated to the subject (get creative here). At the end of the quiz, you get to decide if she passes or fails.

I enjoy sarging in bookstores too but I use more humor in my approaches. Most times after reading something I could make a joke about, I ask her if I could read it to her and then get her opinion.

After reading the passage I interject my humor, get a laugh and then she seems to easily open up with her opinion. We chat for a moment or two and I either #close or suggest that we move to a different venue like a coffee shop or just a walk around the mall. It usually ends with her telling me that she feels as if she's known me forever. Gotta love rapport...

You cant come ot girl, say 'hey i wanna test Your knowledge', take her notes and start asking questions. She will think You are retarded. Stuff with drinjk is more possible because it happends FAST. And this is not happening fast. She will tell You to screw Thats what i think.

I used this technique for the first time yesterday and used it twice today. The second approach was this girl studying chemistry. I was asking her some made of questions (who discovered H20, etc). I made sure she got the last question right which earned her an A for the Quiz. This is an easy way to use humor in the approch.

This isn't always the best play. Just one of many ways to skin a cat.

For me, this doesn't work. My worst results were from talking about homework or tests. Unless we're both in the same class, or doing the same test.

I'd recommend staying away from schoolwork talk, because quite frankly, its just not a fun topic.

2 emails. 1 rejection so far. The key to this approach is to make it humurous when asking her the questions. I'll do some more field testing next week.

Here's something to consider, definitely keep the humor but present it in a way other than a test. Tests normally put people on edge (no matter how funny the questions may be). The person has no idea what you are up to and will be spending most of the time what and why you are doing such a strange thing and not fully engaging you in conversation.

Yes, giving someone a test out of the blue will make you memorable:

• Who is this person talking to me?
• Is this what he does to everyone he meets, give them tests?
• I hope he doesn't have a ton of these strange questions.
• I wonder if he's doing this to make himself feel good about his own intellect.
• Oh, I get it... He's trying to pick me up! Wouldn't it be easier for him to just ask me what I was reading?
• I wonder if he's like this on a real date? Well, I don't want to find out...

Just something to consider...

But seriously, you're 20 dude, not many women your age will hang out there; it's more for the intellectuals and that's not the frame of women your age (at least not typically). Stop by every now and then, you may get lucky. Just be sure to be prepared.

I usually get that message too. I haven't tried removing it from any of my posts, I don't know if you can. I do believe that if you edit your post very shortly after posting it, it may not tag it as being edited.
