"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Coed sports leagues yay or nay ?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

A very common tactic used by men to meet women is participation in co-ed sports leagues. Any co-ed sports league can be an option, though some are better than others. In the late 2000s/early 2010s, kickball leagues were getting a lot of hype as an option for finding dates. In 2025, I rarely hear anyone talking about kickball leagues or any co-ed sports leagues anymore.

I think the best overall sports leagues for male-female mingling are soccer, kickball, and volleyball.

Co-ed sports leagues can often be challenging places to meet women because many tend to be sausage fests.

It's very difficult to swoop into a co-ed sports league for one season of the sport and walk away with some dates. Nearly every other guy in these leagues is an unattached guy who is trying to get his penis wet in league because he read some advice article online or watched a YouTube video or TikTok about doing this.

If a guy likes in a particular sport and does many league seasons of that sport (spanning multiple calendar years), he might be able to get either social circle-ish opportunities or a direct opportunity at the sponsor bar with a female playing on another team in the league. Same team random relationships also sometimes start, but are rare. Female teammates in a co-ed sports league might be able to give you introductions, which can be helpful.

Most males end up having a disappointing experience in their co-ed sports league from the point of view of arranging dates that lead to extended relationships.

If it's softball, putting a woman at first base is a horrible idea. I have seen teams self destruct this way. You want the mandated female team members at 2B, RF, and catcher.

In coed soccer the biggest advantage are teams that have a good female keeper...allows them to put an extra male in the field.

Co-ed Judo is a superb pretext for rolling around on the ground with a chick, WITHOUT having to fork over a few $$ on coffee

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
