This is an entire studio crew on the street with a director clearly holding a script stage-managing Anderson, the subjects and the 'event'. The demeanour of the 'protestors' looks impassive and disinterested, which speaks again to a scripted event.

You should check out Eva Barlett. She is an independent journalist who goes to the front line in Syria and reports on what is really going on, as opposed to the bs on mainstream tv. She's a pretty impressive woman with bigger balls than most men.

It was staged, no debate. CNN even released a statement. Something along the lines of moving them so the camera had a better shot. However, as pointed out by many, it is against the journalism code of ethics.

There is a reason the mainstream is plummeting and the average age of a CNN viewer is 65+. The only reason they're still chugging along is thanks to the, ahem, former gate keeper elites. Who are frantically scrambling to regain control of information again.
