I've been reading alot on this site about what clothes are good and whatnot, but what I normally wear to school is a plain white t-shirt with blue jeans or khaki pants. I wear bland clothing like this because I take alot of automotive classes, and I don't wanna get my good clothes dirty/greasy. Is this all that bad, or should I consider anoth alternative? Thanks.

I mean style is all personal...
But it is a good idea is to try and wear something that will help you stand out of the crowd in one way or another without making yourself look like a tool.

Can you bring a change of clothes for your auto classes?
Style is definitely a way to stand out. I'm a freshman in college, but just the other day i got out of work and had to go to a class in my work clothes. I was wearing a nice fitted shirt, slacks, and a plain black slim tie for work. Definitely excessive for school, but when you feel like you look good, you feel confident; and you get looks. Girls will check you out if you stand out in a good way. In the winter, I wear some cashmere argyle sweaters and slacks or tighter fitted jeans. In the summer, light weight collared shirt with khaki shorts, not cargo shorts. Of course, style is all about you, it's all about what makes you confident while standing out a bit.
I dress "nicely" because it makes me feel confident, and in my eyes boosts my value and shows that I have my **** together.

I sometimes wear coveralls when welding or really getting into a mess. This does make sense, but I'm not the kind of person that usually gets "looks" anyways. I got a few close friends and I usually stick to them.

Just try changing your style, dressing nice, and you will

eh...i think clothes are not too much to worry about

doesn't matter if you wear a plain shirt and jeans...as long as they're clean and fit..

at my shcool..we have this ****ty dress code...basically i have to wear shirts with collars...so i've been wearing the same maybe 8-10 shirts with collars..some polos..some plaid button up ****..bl;a bla..same **** for 4 years..never hurt my game..girls know that it's just my school set...and when i go out on weekends i wear other stuff

but it seems as though your school has no code...but the point here really is...i could be buying a lot more collared shirts..and having more variety..but ther'es no point because i won't wear these clothes in college probably

and my clothes have not hurt my game..even if i wore this **** on the weekends..i doubt people would care...unless they were shallow

CONFIDENCE IS ALL..and you can be confident in a shirt and jeans

The close fit nice, but are usually dirty. Not overly dirty, just a few spots here and there. But I guess I'll wear what fits the job.
