Bloody right, it's mean to be asking someone to drop what they're doing to go be your personal chauffeur. The nerve of some people ... :rolleyes:

I mean, it's one thing if they have a flat tire, or something (i.e., an emergency), but just asking you unexpectedly out of the blue to take them to the mall, or something ... :rolleyes:
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Jump start their car or help them in an emergency, hell yes. Interrupt what I'm doing to drive them to the mall, no... no matter how much I really, really liked them.

I mean, would I ask such a thing of them? NFW.

It's very simple: if I feel like I'm being "jerked around," it's a no-go, and my interest level in the woman drops. She's failing my test. It is a 2-way street, you know. :D
