"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

This is quite a childish thing to do but I think it'll be fun and a little bit of light hearted entertainment for yours truly while I wait for the bath to run or something.
Right, just recently I've split for a girl I've been seeing just casually. She seemed to be needing that dram buzz some girls need and she dropped a remark like "maybe we should'nt carry on cos my friends say this blah blah". So I just said fine and cut her dead.No more contact, and I'm gone like a rat up a gutter.
Nothing, then a few days later I get a mystery e mail.Thats followed by a message on that msn messenger and after all of 2 minutes I suss out who it is,however she's pretending to be a complete stranger.I dare say yous can all guess the opening bout of questions I was asked but I ducked every one.
Now I know its childish, but I do want to play.I'm not sure what I want from this girl just yet,but I would like your thoughts on what to say n how to handle when the inevitable messages start again.I dont want to call her on it straight away and I've no intention of embarasing or degrading her by telling her friends and collegues. All humorous replies would be gratefully accepted.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Why you are asking these questions might be the same as asking a kindergartner to play catch, I know the difference though!

"let's meet for coffee(tea, a walk, movie your treat, games, etc...) tomorrow"
