I hadn't thought of this till another poster had brought it up before but have you ever had a chick or chicks who "brag" about different things to you and gotten mildly annoyed or bored and not bothered with the chick anymore but in actuality maybe the chick who kept talking to you was "bragging" in an effort to impress you?

Some poster had brought it up a while ago. Forgot who. But said the chick might've been actually trying to impress you. (Me).
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I like to keep an open mind on these things. A lot of guys around here use a lot of tactics to preserve their ego aka nexting and usually next a girl before any of these situations fully develop.

Yes they might brag to impress.

If they overdo it though , that's a big Attention-***** sign.


You can set the 2 apart easily. Stop her and start talking too. If she listens , she was bragging to impress.If she seems to only love the sound of her own voice than you got a major AW right there.
