The thing is, she was not butt-hurt. She wanted me to say "no, I don't think we are dating." She didn't want me to think we were exclusive. It's that simple. Her saying she never liked sleeping with me probably had more to do with ensuring I didn't make a move in the future.

While I may not love her, what man wouldn't be insulted by a woman criticizing his performance. I think any guy on this forum would to take it to heart to some extent.

She has texted me on two occasions since then and I have been as terse as possible. Tonight she asked me if I hated her. I don't think there is a quality about women I like less. When I don't really like someone I don't bother to reach out to them. My interest in them is not contingent upon the interest they don't pay me.

It's funny -- she told me she saw me walking but emphasized her friend was driving, thus the alleged reason she didn't stop to say hello. I used a male pronoun in reference to her "friend" whose gender she left ambiguous. Her response was, "I thought you didn't see me?" I didn't.
