"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

what is the most effective way to approach getting a girl with a 'friend'. as she said, they just started kinda seeing each other. from what she's said, he sounds like your typical afc.

so, it's not like they're bf/gf. so, what are some good tips to show i'm interested while still being respectful to her current situation?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

If a girl gives you hints that she is unavailable to you, then she is unavailable to you. The most you can do is DISPLAY your interest, take REJECTION if she is going to give it to you, and DEAL with it.

Basically, ask for her number, ask her on a date, go in for a kiss, ONLY IF THE DATE GOES WELL and you think the time is right. Any rejection at any point simply means she's not interested and that's the end of it.

But the truth is, if she mentions a "FRIEND," without you asking, then it's just a sign that she isn't interested. But the above is the only true way to find out. I mean, would you bring up a female "FRIEND" that you weren't official with if you were interested in a girl macking on you? Of course not.

And if you did ask if she was with somebody, then bad move on your part. If anything ask, "Are you single?" for a more straightforward answer. In this case, she would have answered yes, and that would be the end to it.

Ask her on the date. Work it from there. Forget her interests, forget her priorities, go with yours until you can sense her real interest. Then you can decide to back off or proceed.

f*ck your friend

You give up way too easy, just "seeing each other" doesn't mean sh!t, it's obviously not serious and she's testing your interest. If you back off when she mentions another guy, it shows that you're a wuss and are afraid to compete for what you want.

My advice is, treat her like the other guy doesn't exist. Flirt with her, kino her, keep escalating things, invite her over to your place, and start it off. If she ever brings him up, tell her you're interested in her, not some loser she's seeing.

I hate to tell you this, but 9/10 HBs you approach will have a guy they're just seeing, a boyfriend, etc. You can either back off and keep masturbating, or you can compete and make the girl forget about those other losers.

why go through the stress of trying to "compete" with another person. there are other beautiful truly single woman who want a man.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

no, i did not ask her if she had a bf. here's how it went down: i told her that one of my family members had come to visit me for an occasion. i then asked her if any of her family came for the same occasion. (now, i saw her with a couple people and one looked like it could have been a bf, but he seemed pretty meek, so i thought it was her brother.)

so, she went on to mention that "person A was there, person B was there and......um..... (pause) this guy that i've kinda been seeing."

we'll see what happens...
