"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Chick I met at gym was obviously interested thru text and we set up date easily.(that feeling you know when chick likes you) didn't text for 5 days till day of date. She didn't reply when I gave her meet up time and location not gonna lie it was only an hour later to meet up from when i texted. I said I'm no longer interested when i realized she ghosted. A couple days later I asked why she ghosted and she said she doesn't know if she is ready to date and embarrassed to text back cause daughter had phone.

I didn't buy it and told her I'm going to date other women while she learns to make decisions like a grown up.

She never texted back.

On one end I feel like I retained my self respect . On the other IDK why she ghosted when she was obviously into me for the 10 days from when I first met her at gym. Do women lose interest if don't text them for days till the actual date day??

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

First, unless you like drama, don't date single mothers. Second, after setting the date, you text her that day of the date, time and place. That is it.

Yeah thats what happens when you follow dumb rules and ghost chicks for several days before a first date.

Hope you learned your lesson.

Still don't text?

Say no. You're too busy with work/school to be on social media. Only reason why she asked about social media is so she can snoop on you.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Can't say I've experienced said flakiness with texting the time, date and place after speaking to her over the phone. You want to appear confident and with abundance mindset. Reconfirming isn't necessary; in my opinion.

I typically dont confirm but i typically don't go ghost before a first date either. Nothing to do with confidence. My goal is to get the chick out on the date i dont need her wondering if im going to show up and then have her bail for no reason. If I get her on the date I am pretty good at closing...if she holds up her end of the bargain and looks good and brings something to the table...

A text or two a day up until the date works wonders for you most times and it usually increases her interest...if done properly that is. I have not had any flakes doing this at all. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Follow your intuition, instead of rigid, outdated guidelines next time. Instead of playing a scared to fail game, men need to start doing the leg work, experimenting and learning all facets of the game, including the texting/messaging game in 2018. Advice: play the numbers game, be willing to lose some and develop your social intelligence/awareness and calibration. If you are winning the lotto with the same numbers day after day do you change your numbers?

This is what I knew the whole deep down and did it till I decided to not text 5 days straight till the date. The 5-6 days we texted like 1-2 texts each way per day and it was high interest from her. I'm glad someone on here has confirmed that this is better then not texting till date day.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Different women respond differently. I usually call a woman on a Tuesday or Wednesday and set the date for that Friday or Saturday. Therefore, there is no need to worry about forgetting about the date. I then wait til next Tuesday or Wednesday and repeat the process. If they text me during this time, I'll respond, but I will not reach out. I am busy with life. You should be on your purpose.

Right..because texting once or twice a day is sooooooo time consuming...

This stuff cracks me up...I'm too busy...

To a guy who works full time as a programmer, goes to college full time, has a family and goes to the gym routinely...

If you are that busy that texting once or twice a day is too time consuming I'd suggest you take courses to improve your time management skills because they are sorley lacking.

i agree with marmel, im no don juan, but if a girl i like gave me her number, i would be texting her right away telling her all about how cute she was and how bad i wanted to jump on top of her while i was talking her and whatnot.......i would try to get them worked up through texting instead of waiting a whole week to talk to them again because they will loose interest quick

The phone is for setting dates and hooking up. If you are looking to be friendzoned, knock yourself out.

That's a lil too much lol
I'd say 1-2 texts that has an ongoing conversation that overlaps on days

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

i agree this may be too much for some guys and im sure some women will be turned off by it, not everything works for everyone, this is just what i would do, i definitely wouldn't wait days and especially not 5 days, if the woman is attractive can you imagine how many different guys have tried to hit on her in the span of 5 days

Sure. Always smart in this day and age in a litigious society to text and send images non-PG and not be concerned of any possible repercussions. Smart. I wouldn't do that, but then again, do as you wish.

5 days is too long and you said you only confirmed an hour before the proposed time? You think she doesn’t have other stuff to do and she can just drop things on a moments notice to hang out with you?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
