As we all know chicks can easily give out the wrong number. A chick i met did this to me once and i thought it was a good idea. I read b4 that a good way to check the number is change the last digit and see if she corrects you, what this chick taught me was call the number AFTER u get it. Most chicks have their cell phone with them. Next time a chick gives u a CELL number, call it, and if she has the phone with her and it rings, all is good, if it doesnt ring than u know it is a false and number and u can NEXT her.

Also, if she gives u BOTH home and cell numbers, thats another good sign, but i think most of us knew that.

The downside to this is that she has access to your number right away. One woman gave me her number and I called it right away like i usually do, but then she proceeded to call me 4 times that same night to see if we could "get together", and then once again the next day.

The phone number thing is a trifle really. You should KNOW whether she is interested or not. If she's interested, it will be a real number. Focus on gauging interest and increasing rapport.

Dude, this is garbage!! Just call the darn number she gave you, if its a wrong or an invalid number, just move on. Its as simple as that.

just verbally repeat the number back to her to "reconfirm" that you've got it right, but intentionally say the last digit wrongly and see how she reacts...if she's really interested she would know that you've got her number wrong.

But if she's like "yeah sure" then you know where to draw your conclusions:cheer:

I agree with just calling and if it's fake then forget her.

Also, calling the number right away sort of gives the impression that you're needy. I'd rather leave her with the thought "When is he going to call me?" for a couple days. The 'repeat the wrong number' deal is perfectly fine.
