3 ounces extra firm tofu, 1/2 cup low-salt garbanzo beans (chickpeas), dash of sea salt, blend of onion and curry powder sautéed in extra virgin olive oil... yogurt tzakziki on side

1/2 avocado on rice cake

My family's earliest patriarch settled here, because he fell off a lettuce truck on its way to Chicago. He must have been drunk, because I'm not anywhere near Chicago.

Iceberg has a bad reputation because people think of it as that factory-shredded crap on a fast food burger. Anything is bad when treated so poorly. My grandma grew iceberg lettuce, and it was delicious.

Corn beef, spam and veggie omlette with steamed rice is also a nutritious meal after a good work out. Drink it with flavored chocolate or strawberry milk as a treat.

Those meals sound delicious.

I put together a gourmet cheese platter, couple of glasses of wine. Most meals I make have tomato and ask her to take a tiny taste. I give her a taste from the wooden spoon, chicks love it.
