"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I am attracted to the women I can't have, or that I shouldn't have.

Currently? An 18-year old highschool dropout with recurring ex-issues.

Instead I could have this other girl who's a few years older, much more mature, and is well on her way to a successful career. We get along well and there is sexual tension but I have no desire.

I know the logical choice but I am being an idiot.

Arrg!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

What is your goal here?

I dont like helping people make up the whole "What should I do" thing. I like guiding people to their ultimate goal.

I already know what I should do... and I already know what I'm probably going to do.

I am just having trouble understanding myself and why I would want to make the wrong choice.

So really, I'm looking for other people with simular situations and hopefully insight on the human psyche and why men would make bad choices like these.

which is hotter? the 18 year old?

She might also appeal to you more because you have the tendencey to want to help misfortunate girls. Try and fix them... this is common with men.

sometimes i think women aren't the only ones in it for the drama. i think her issues are more interesting to you then the mature girl who got her sh#t together. its like a girl who says all the guys i date turn out to be jerks. the simple answer is, that is what she is attracted to. same thing goes for you. a woman thinks with emotion and how a guy makes her feel. you are thinking emotionally because logic would light the way of who would be the better choice. logically, the mature woman would be the better choice for the long term. if your looking for drama and a short term bang then the 18yr old would be the choice the emotional guy would take. i mean no offence by saying your thinking like a woman because why would you pick someone who is flatout damaged compared to someone that is stable.

the only thing these damaged women will do, is slowly wreck havoc on your how you perceive women in the long run and then you'll wonder why women suck when you had perfect opportunity with someone good.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I hear ya bro I do the same thing. I currently have oneitis for a girl who displays little interest in me - but of course just enough to keep me infatuated.

Some girls are like beer. Good in moderation but if you end up thinking about them all the time your emotional life goes down the tube pretty quickly.

My advice would be to start setting some limits with your girl and if she doesn't conform move on. This is the plan I'm taking with my girl... because I don't want to be a lapdog.
