Cell Phone question...

Hey all...How's life treatin ya?

I have a question about cell phones... I recently got a call on my cell. The number came up and was my girlfriend's number, so i answered it. To my surprise, it wasnt her...so some guy says, " What's up I just banged your gf im callin from her cell phone." So i said, "great" and hung up haha.

Anyway, i decide to call her number back and i get her, so i her ask who just called from her cell...she tells me that no one called - shes had her cell phone all night and didnt go out. Needless to say this caught my interest.

I have no idea what the hell happened...Has anyone ever heard of this happening, or know how its done? - Calling someone from your cell but when they look at it to see whos calling they see a number other than yours??

I asked some friends and they said theyve heard of it, and think that it is maybe called ghosting...something about calling some number, which you can then dial in the number of who you want to call and what number you want to come up when you call...

i have no idea, so i figured id ask here, see if anyone can shed some light on the situation.

The person who did this is likely trying to break you and your g/f up, likely because he wants her. That should help you figure out who did it.

There may be other ways to do it that don't cost money. Is her ex being a pain and trying to get back with her?

hmm yeah, i thought there might be a way to do it for free, tried looking but no luck.

As for the ex, ive heard a bit from him now and then as far as it goes with bein a bother...since we started dating, but not like he tries this stuff on daily, weekly, or sometimes even monthly basis. Nothing really to fret over...far as i know she doesnt talk to him...he usually jus tries to start with me, like a punk.

You can also change your voice to sound like man>woman/woman>man.

So, it might be a chick, which is more likely: I can't imagine a dude going through that drama.

Jealous ex, changes her voice to a dude, calls from the number, and messes with your head. Hooray for technology!

I don't give credit to anything on the phone, especially texts since you can just go to the company's website and type in any phone number you want.

Luke...I have - isnt the case though...of course i know every chick is capable of cheatin..

but im not worried about it.

And i mean if you've learned that "once trust is gained its abused," from having it happen to you so much, id start screening better or jus lookin for other women...not all abuse trust, though they all are capable.

You cant be with a chick if you refuse to trust them because you think they'll abuse you once you do.
