"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I heard about that movie Catfish and decided to check out parts of it on Youtube. I'd came across videos from users (who knows if some were making up stories to get freebies for the movie promo) people who had actually "fallen in love" with a stranger online who used fake pictures and talked for MONTHS or longer without meeting till the dopes eventually wised up and found out the person was a fake. Can you say embarrassingly pathetic?

Not only that but some people admitting to making several fake MySpace or Facebook pages and having "Conversations" between then for "authenticity" just to dupe other people into thinking the fake person is them and talk to others online for God knows how long.

Now I could understand someone putting a fake dating profile up just to test responses quickly and then just deleting the profile to prove a looks theory. But to sit online for months, create not only a fake facebook so a person would think it's them, but also several other fake facebooks to "chat" on the pages to add even more "realness" to it, as well as actually giving out their real number to talk on the phone to others whom they've gotten numbers from a fake profile on online dating for weeks, months, or longer till they got busted? Damn...lol

Here's a video of one dude who talked to a chick for like three months or longer till he busted her. Dude "feel in love" with her pictures..then after the chick told him it wasn't her, he asked if she knew the person in the pictures. The chick said yes and this dude wanted her to get him to meet that chick even after he found out the chick in the pics had a boyfriend and he wasn't even talking to her! WTF?!?!

(The video this dude made is 27 minutes long so if you get downtime to pass..Damn..)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Yeah man, I've been there. That ṣhit fücks you up in the head to the point where you fall in love with a figment of your own imagination. It's a low confidence/self esteem ṣhitcake with a thick layer of AFC flavored icing. Never again!

Never met anyone online like that or talked to one...but it is a crazy world. I think that is as low as it goes in terms of how desperate someone is.
